As described. Easy to fit and not too noisy.

This is a basic but effective air vent cover that is working well with ceiling fans in the kitchen and utility rooms.It isn't expensive and that shows when you look at it. The plastic isn't top notch stuff, the way the fans hinge is just based on small stubs of plastic rather than anything especially durable, and the round piece at the back that should fit into the ducting isn't deep enough to do so easily. It comes with screws, rawlplugs and a strip of foam that's adhesive on one side, though there are no instructions as to whether that's best on the inside or outside of the round bit that's supposed to connect to the ducting (I went for outside). There's no mesh to use as an insect screen supplied with these; I had some and glued it to the back of the grille, but if that's important to you then you'll either have to supply your own or buy something else. The screw holes lie underneath two of the fans which made marking where holes needed to be drilled in the wall, and subsequent placement of the screws, a little awkward; I wedged them open with blu-tack. Because the round bit at the back wasn't especially deep I had to get creative with some spare plastic sheet to make a good connection, and then because of the state of the hole in the wall that the ducting exited through I needed to get very carefully creative with some expanding foam. And then, to complete, I was back up the ladder to go round the edges with some sealant to prevent water getting round the back of it.But my labours paid off. It may be cheaply made and have given me some opportunities for creative thinking when I put it on, but it works a treat. The vents open when the fans are on and close when they're off, they stop draughts coming into the kitchen and so far I've not heard any rattling from them when the wind's been gusting.So, I had to put a little effort in to get them placed and attached properly but they're doing the job I wanted them to do. One star off for them not having an insect screen and for the awkwardness involved in getting them where I wanted them, but otherwise I'm quite happy with what I've got.

The flaps are very thin and flimsy. comes off with a wind blow. The pins at both ends are too short and the flaps fall off.

Looks like it is made exactly to specifications described. Unfortunately, I measured the wrong diameter and therefore can't attest to the actual workings. However, the design is basic, and the premise simple. Whilst there may be issues with it being slightly noisy in the wind, in terms of its actual function, there is little to go wrong.Fitment is simple with four Philips head screws and there is no complications, you simply push the circle into the hole. Even *I* can do that, if I'd measured correctly!!

Fitted easily and colour is as per thepicture. Would recommend

Perfect fit what I needed. Very easy to fit with an electric screwdriver.
