Great versatile lid for 20cm pots and pans

I bought this to replace one that randomly exploded while I was steaming vegetables. This fits the steamer perfectly and seems more sturdy than it’s predecessor!

These are fantastic for the price and you must be careful not to put these straight into water after being on the frying pan.Let them cool down before you wash them in water or they will shatter.I see a few reviews have already done that and they have shattered.Brilliant for the price and it is nice to see the food cooking without having to keep taking the lid off.

Speedy delivery of a quality item. This 20cm glass lid fits my pan perfectly. It has a screw-on knob rather than a soldered one which means if/when it gets loose I can tighten it with the screw rather than have to buy a new lid. I'm very happy with this product as I have an expensive pan set that could last me forever if not for the solder knobs!! ;). I'm off to order these lids for the other pans in my set because I most definitely prefer the see-through glass lid with screw-on knobs as opposed to the metal lid with soldered knob.

It fits my saucepan well, only thing I don’t like is when I invert the lid to stack others on top it wobbles and doesn’t allow other saucepans to sit straight, but it works fine as a lid which is what I wanted.

This item arrived late and in poor packaging. On opening the package I noticed instantly small shards of glass inside the black knob. I removed the screw for a closer inspection and I could see the glass lid was very slightly damaged where the hole in the glass was drilled while manufacturing. After removing the glass pieces and putting it together again the damage is covered up and I won't bother to return it as it is usable and not dangerous.This glass saucepan lid is exactly what I wanted and a perfect fit. I did think the price for this item was exceptionally cheap though at £6.92 including P&P when I ordered it and I strongly suspect now the reason was because it's a reject.It is illegal to sell seconds as new. So, I could only recommend the item if the seller Kitchen Craft had been honest and sold it as a second.
