Bought for my grandson. Nice to read books first published ages ago

Asterix is where I picked up all my latin phrases so it is now time to pass that knowledge onto my son.Good quality bind as well!

Have been buying this series for my grandson, who doesn’t readily pick up a book. He loves them, the wacky illustrations go down a treat and he is enjoying reading them himself. Great objective accomplished!

Aged 49 I am trying to replace all my old and worn Asterix books from the 1970's, these Omnibus versions are a great way to do this. I have also read the books again, they are just fantastic fun. There are jokes for all ages in these books, both written, pictorial and circumstancial jokes as well as strong story lines and clever plots, some of which are based on fact.There are jokes and facts in these books that maybe you didn't get or didn't realise as a child and so reading them again as an adult is a pleasure.Dare I say that these books are educational as well, so its good for kids, although it may be difficult sometimes to differentiate between fact and fiction but overall these are far from the wrong books for children (and adults) to read.Highly recommended.

I read this to my 7 year old granddaughter via FaceTime. We each have a book. Great fun.

My children love the Asterix books. I loved them as a child and I still do.

A fabulous range of books. Each omnibus collection is in paperback form and contains three of the Asterix books that I remember being in the house as a child at least 40 years ago. I bought this for my 10 year old son because his uncle (my brother) had bought him the first two collections for Christmas. My son is as hooked as my brother was and loves reading and re-reading the cartoons. He plans to collect the whole series!
