No this is designed for above ground pools only. Try the Pooleye PE23

Yes it is approved for use in Connecticut where an alarm has to be 50 decibals and activates when an object of 15lbs or more falls in the pool . SPQ Brands

Q: How do you adjust sensitivity after installed?

The sensitivity adjustment is on the bottom of the sensor throat. SPQ Brands

Q: Does this work with an above-ground pool liner? Would the alarm go off at any movement of the liner?

Ours is in an above-ground pool. You have to place it so it’s not in line with the filter output. It works well.
