very happy with purchase!
The Lumintrail Center Mount Bike Kickstand is exactly what I was looking for—sturdy, functional, and easy to install. It’s a fantastic upgrade for my bike, and I couldn’t be happier with its performance. The kickstand is made from durable materials and feels incredibly solid. Even when my bike is fully loaded with panniers, it holds everything upright without any wobbling or instability. The adjustment mechanism is smooth and secure, allowing you to customize the height to ensure your bike stands at the perfect angle.

Seems to be secure. Push button adjustable wire clip may be weak link.
For the price, the overall quality seems good. Good appearance. Mounting it was a little tedious, trying to hold the parts together and position it just right. Due to a brake line and the shape of my chain stay (goes from oval to nearly round near the rear), I had to position the stand within a 2 inch area. I uniformly tightened the 3 bolts (VERY important) for the best chance for the clamp to hold. Because of the rubberized inserts "relaxing", the bolts lose a little torque so I needed to tighten them down little by little several times before I was OK with them. I'm sure the stand would still rotate a little if pushed on too hard but it seems to be holding under normal foot contact. If it does move I believe a single wrap of rubber tape stretched around the chain stay first would provide better grip for the inserts/clamp.The push button to adjust length is great but I suspect the wire clip that fits into a notch may not withstand the test of time. Most of the bikes weight is on that wire clip. Mine is adjusted about 1 1/4 inch out. If the wire clip broke the stand would collapse that amount. I'm not sure if the bike would fall or not. To stop a possible collapse, I suggest placing something inside the adjustable hollow "foot". A piece of round wooden dowel or anything strong enough, cut to correct length, would work. Even silicone sealant would work. Also, if the wire clip breaks, there's nothing to stop the foot from falling off. Again, silicone sealant or a strong epoxy could work but the stand would no longer be adjustable. One last idea, to minimize pressure on the wire clip, mount the stand so the bike is upright as possible and still be secure. As a side note, I DID mount my stand at first so the bike didn't lean much but my foot was too close to the stand. I had to re-position the clamp to move the stand inward even more. So the bike is a little more upright than I'd like but it will be secure. So much depends on YOUR bike. The shape and height of your chain stay, any cables in the way, even where you like to place your feet on your pedals. From what I've seen, this stand, because it expands to 17 inches, is the best chance to hold a larger mountain bike. I have a 2018 Specialized Rockhopper Sport 29er with a large frame. It measured about 12 1/4 inches from the ground to bottom of the chain stay. Just remember to uniformly tighten the 3 bolts, try to minimize pressure on the wire clip by mounting the stand to keep the bike more upright, consider a wrap of rubber tape if the clamp wants to slip, and "modifying" the adjustable foot as I described. I think if your chain stay is too round then rubber tape is your only hope of the clamp holding, and it still may not work. Measured with a precision tool, my chain stay, at my mounting point, was .68 of an inch wide and .86 of an inch high, so not truly oval but somewhat oval. I give 4 stars. Could potentially be more or less. Hard to say until some time passes. Hope this helps.

Totally fit "plug and play" standard size men's mountain bike:)
I was expecting to have to cut it down - which is EZ 2 do with a vice and a hacksaw blade - but it fit perfectly at it's shortest level in all ways. The reviewers who have whatever issues with this kickstand are simply clueless & should not work on *any* other parts of their bicycles if they can't mount a kickstand properly...

Nice kickstand, bad mounting bolt
Overall, for the price, this is a solid and well designed kickstand. The issue I have is that is uses a mounting bolt that requires a sizable allen wrench size. Instead of a traditional hex headed bolt that you can easily screw in with any adjustable or socket wrench, this comes with a round headed bolt that contains a 'big' sized allen wrench. I had to tear apart my tool bench to finally and luckily find the proper size allen wrench size. I was withing 60 seconds of packing this back up and returning it. But alas, I found the right, big size and screwed it in tightly. As noted, the kickstand itself is well designed and solid material. I must say however that even on my 27" bike (this product says it fits 24-29") I can only use the highest/shortest adjustment setting to get the bike to stand up straight. Any further, longer extension of the adjustable rod would have the bike not just upright, but tipping over away from the kickstand side. For the price, it's ok. But these discoveries after receiving the product makes me wish I would have bought something else.
