Fiddly for child to make
My daughter was brought this for her 6th birthday the rating on ours says 6+. She was very keen to knit it. Instructions complicated so asked Grandma and a Great Aunt. My daughter managed few stitches with assistance but struggled to manage holding the loom, keeping the wool from coming off and getting the knitting hook in the loop and hooking wool over. She happily left knitting of it to her Great Aunt who said she thought they had missed '0' of age decommendation making it '60+'. My daughter made pom-pom for the top with a pom-pom maker which we would recommend.So in conclusion great hat maker but fiddly for little fingers. One that would have been put away for a long few years and then in reality hat produced may not have been the thing an older child would wear.
