I purchased this clip to use with an Electro-Voice RE 27 N/D (RE20 form factor) and it fits the bill very well. The clip is sturdy and the springs are strong enough to firmly hold what is one of my heaviest mics. Also very effective for positioning traditional Large Diaphragm Condenser Microphones at odd angles when micing instruments or amps. If you use LDCs or non-handheld style mics regularly, a couple of these are a must for any studio.

Yes, these are huge. I wanted a large mic clip that would accommodate my SM 58 microphone when it has a wireless transmitter plugged into it, as most mic clips make it very hard to get the microphone in and out of the clip with the transmitter attached. These clips are great for that. But they are big enough that it doesn’t really hold the mic firmly in place for performing, if that’s what you are looking to do. Maybe if you have a big fat mic these would work better for that. Oh one of them did lose a nut in the mechanism that attaches the clip to the screw piece after about six months though, that was annoying.

It appears well made and strongly assembled. It screwed in easily and there was an adapter included in case I needed a different size. The grip is padded by a cushion which just enough grab to keep the mic securely in place. The clamp itself fit both my smaller barrel plug-in mics as well as my larger barrel cordless mics with ease. I feel very confident using this with my mic stand, it was worth the money and believe I will be using it for years to come. *I will update if anything changes*

The Wide clip microphone holder is exactly what I needed. It has integrated material to avoid scratching the surface of the microphone it holds and the zero to 90 degree angle axis can be locked to your desired angle.

I use a set of 4 wireless microphones, along with a box of Shure 58s.And I like the "Clothespin-style" mic clips.I had hoped these would solve all of my compatibility problems, But they really don't fit my 58s very well at all. They are WONDERFUL for my Cordless set. Absolutely perfect size.I like the design and construction, They seem very durable and well made compared to most of the clip-style holders I have. I just wish they would grip my 58s better!However, I did learn something from their design: the jaws are "rubber" (neoprene?) lined. I copied that feature and glued some pads into my smaller clip-style mic holders (That fit the 58s well, but did not hold them as securely as I wanted.) And that fixed them right up. Made them almost perfect for the smaller mics. So even for THOSE, buying this set helped solve my problem.Very happy with this purchase.
