This type of connector makes back-to-wall toilet fitting extremely easy. Expand to fit to toilet and then simply push the toilet back and the pipe will contract. There have been no leaks so far. I expect the ridges will trap some waste, but that is to be expected. Because of the flexibility of the pipe, I would suggest avoiding sharp angles to prevent blockages and the possibility of the pipe being pulled off the toilet by the force of the water and waste when flushed. Mine is a straight connection to the waste pipe so no issues.

This was a dream come true for me fitting a new toilet suite in our bathroom. The old toilet was close to the wall but the new one was much further out as it is in a cabinet. This very easy to fit flexible pipe bridged the gap in seconds and I would highly recommend it. Push fit at both ends and it goes into the existing waste pipe a long way as it does on the toilet so there is no change of it slipping off.

Amazing, fitted a new toilet unit so it moved the toilet out, bought a 30cm pipe from a well known store that just wasn't long enough and I was breaking the plumbers guide the guy said by connecting it in to the existing pan connector but it would work however just wasn't long enough. Bought this more than long enough and was able to bend direct into the floor waste pipe meaning I could remove the existing pan connector and staying within the plumbers giude :-). The best thing was that I could connect onto the toilet at full stretch then position the toilet that would close the pipe down.
