Decently priced for such lovely books. Bought for my granddaughter and looking forward to reading it with her..beautiful illustrations

Got this as babies first set of story books. They are in simplified language and seem good for small children, definitely not the traditional style. It is 200 pages, but only has 8 stories in total, which I think would be nice for people to know, since I couldn't find that information when I was shopping initially. It has very nice artwork on every page so it should be fun to read with kids.

Delightful book of fairy tales. I purchased this as a christening present for my great grand son. a lovely book for him to keep. Beautifully illustrated and well presented. It arrived well packaged and very promptly.

I had looked for this book for years! My younger brother had it when I was about 13 or 14 and I would read the stories to him. The illustrations are in full colour and beautifully done. It is also nice that you can find a LP or CD Danny Kaye Sings Hans Christian Andersen with music that compliments a lot of the stories in this book.A treasure for any child.A traditional book of fairytales

This is a lovely book. The stories are original and some we are not aware of. The illustrations are pleasant and the book is sturdy. We have not had chance to read any of it yet as we are still busy with a Pooh book, but we are looking forward to starting it with our granddaughter in the next couple of weeks. But I would definately recommend it after leafing through it and being impressed with what I saw.
