Yes, the ladder can go to the left or right side of the bunk bed. This makes it easier to locate the bed in the best place possible or move around the room to suit.

Can I paint or stain the bed frame?

You don't have to, most people like the natural modern finish. However you can use easily paint or stain to match existing furniture. There are no chemicals or treatments in this timber.

Can this bunk bed be used by adults?

Yes, this is a heavy duty bunk bed, tested to 40 stone so can be used by adults. The side rails and base slats have been upgraded to take this extra weight.

How sturdy is this bunk bed?

The corner posts are 60mm thick, children's beds are normally only 40mm thick. This makes for a sturdy bunk bed, we also include wall fixing brackets in addition for added security.

How safe is this bed safe?

Very safe, being made in the UK it has to comply to British Standard: EN747-1:2012+A1:2015. The guard rails are fixed and made using strong 19mm thick solid pine.
