Keystone KSA054 Scope Mil Dot

My husband seems to be very pleased with this Keystone Riflescope that he purchased for my son's gun. It was a birthday present for my son. He is just too small to maneuver a gun and try to look threw the scope at the same time, so my husband uses it a lot when he rides the four wheelers. He has killed a few snakes. It was compatible with mounting kit that was purchased at same time. The quality of scope is excellent and comparable to other name brands. It has not rusted at all. No issues with this product at all. Great product, Great price. Recommend to other gun owners looking for scope or accessories!

Works great on the Cricket!

I bought my 9 year old grandson his first rifle, the Davey Crickett single shot .22. He has become quite a good shot but he told me recently that he would like to have a scope. I found the scope and mount on Amazon.com and of course they fit perfectly on his rifle. It looks great and is the perfect finishing touch. He is so proud of it and is becoming quite a marksman.

I bought one for my son's rifle. These are very nice scopes, much better than the price might suggest. The mil-dot is nice since zeroed with .22lrs, it hits in the next mil dot with .22 CB cap shorts at 30 yds. I would consider using this on a rifle other than a .22. Bought a second one for my other son recently and still like it.

mounted and ready to sight it in.havent used it yet but the optics are nice and clear and perfect size for the cricket rifle.if you want a cool scope for the cricket 22lr youth rifle you have found it.jusst buy it.

Exactly what i expected it to be, performs perfectly for my son. Sighting in was a breeze and so far it has held to a 1" group at 50 yards. Time will tell of its durability but seems to be a well built beginner scope. The one thing i was worried about was eye relief but set up properly my boy has had no problem.

Good scope for learning. But honestly. The lines on the scope are a bit thick. Hard to see small targets at about 50 yards. But my son likes it and its mounted well so not bad. But I just wish the lines were smaller.

If you have trained on a "military" style Mil Dot scope this does NOT use the same formula for range calculation! Oh it works like a Mil Dot scope (known object length or width divided by the observed/ size in "dots" = range (in meters) but it has a different "factor" for the calculations. The known object length has to be multiplied by 400, then divided by "dots". A little cumbersome. Just FYI. Keystone did a great job and include not one but two range charts with metric measurement and imperial equivalents. One chart is a small plastic coated card, great for use in the field.Optics are clear. I like the see through scope covers. I very much like the elevation and windage adjustments do not require a screw driver. The rings mount firmly and when installed properly have not moved.The price is great for a "kids" scope. Best value for the money.Why 4 not 5 stars? If you have not realized it yet, the base to mount the scope to the rifle has to be purchased separately.
