I wanted to do a statement wall in my lounge and was after paper for a change rather than paint, but I couldn't find the right type of colour that I was after until I saw this.This vintage striped look and the colour is just what I was looking for. The colour is difficult to accurately describe (and my photos don't depict the colour properly), but it's like a dark turquoise with stripes in a darker, greeny blue and almost a burgundy accent.It's lovely and perfect to be my statement wall to go with my dark purple curtains.It looks sumptuous. It's good quality paper and printed well, but it does state that it's textured. In my opinion, it's not textured becuase the surface is completely flat like paper is, but the way it has been printed gives the "impression" that it's textured.I may be wrong on how wallpaper is categorised or described, but that is how it is to me. It "feels" smooth but "looks" almost velvety. I hope that makes some kind of sense!Anyway, the roll covers just over 5 m² with 10 m on the roll, and just over half a metre wide, so this one roll was enough for my statement wall. However, at £15.99 a roll, the price is not overly expensive - certainly cheaper than I've seen for many wallpapers that I've been looking at recently.This paper does need pasting, so it isn't a case of sticking on like the self-adhesive wallpapers (I wish it was!), but I'm pleased with it and would definitely think about buying this brand in the future, as looking at their other wallpapers, they've got some lovely designs.
