Very simple installation as long as you read the steps carefully. I actually received mine with the small rubber seal detached and thought it was faulty, so do be aware that it may be lost in the packaging. Other than that, it does exactly what it needs to.

You can't beat Philips.I was tempted into trying a pack of 3 filters, that looked like the real thing, at a fraction of the cost. The resulting filtered water tasted awful - makes you wonder what they use in their filters.Chucked them in the bin, and installed the Philips, now enjoying perfect coffee once again.
