CAMELBAK Classic Hydration Pack

After melting on a 5 mile run in 40 degrees heat with the military (whisky pouring out my body) I realised I was lucky to of survived without water. I took the educated decision to buy a camelback after seeing one of my fellow troops with one, comfy, reliable, no need to worry about a bottle in hand and I’ll say it again.....life saving. While this is a good product, unfortunately, its functionally inferior to my old Camelbak rogue. The biggest issue with this is the drinking tube/straw, it's much thicker than my old one so less bendy, blocking itself when bent up to my mouth. The elasticated hole you fit the bladder through is less user-friendly than the velcro fastening of my old rogue, plus elastic is less robust than velcro and likely to degrade/stretch over time as elastic does

Costs more than other less well known brands but this is definitely worth the money.Buckle on the front across your chest is a must if you are running long distances.Just did a half marathon to test it - Large opening to fill up, and allows it to be easily cleaned.Mouth piece is flexible, and gives a good amount of liquid.Whole thing is sturdy and well put together and it's handy having the other pouch to put other bits in - Top marks.

Love the idea. The bag needed a good rinse as it made the water initially taste funny. Also the lid is difficult to close properly - or maybe it's just me (had to send the first one back - very quick delivery on replacement). Once prepped the camelbak was great! Comfy on my back & hydrated me through completing a bike ride challenge!!

A well known brand with an easily filled and removable bladder. The zipped pocket at the back is very small, so will hold some keys, puncture repair kit and a multi-tool. That’s it. If you need somewhere to put a spare inner tube and micro-pump, then you’ll need a bigger Camelbak.

it's ok if you don't mind the sound of water swishing as you run ! However, I would say that it is well made and great for long runs.

Always used camelbak products but have never had an integrated backpack and bladder. This is a great product and is well made. I love the way it sits on my back and the way the bladder is integrated.

No comparison with the cheaper brands. Works perfectly, if only they can do a vacuum-sealed version.
