Danger JonesSemi-Permanent Hair Color (Cheap Date - Light Pink)

I used 3 total colors from this brand, their blue, yellow, and black. I LOVED how clear and light the blue was. I was about a level 7-8, and it took very well. The black WILL stain, even if you have hair dye stain remover, but after a day, my staining is almost gone. There is no noticeable smell of the dye, which is nice. Rinse with your head down to prevent bleed over if you are doing anything like I did. For sure will buy again.

Absolutely love the color. I bleached first and added about 2-3 tablespoons of conditioner and am not disappointed at all. Really like that it didn't stain my clothes or wash out with bleeding color. Definitely will get again

For fragrance and consistency, as well as coming out incredibly even I am giving 5 stars. It came out pastel though and not at all darker like the swatch. I got Burlesque. I lightened to a 9. It's a beautiful color, I just don't know how long it is going to last, being this pastel. I might mix some of it in my conditioner to make it last longer, honestly, because despite being lighter it's very pretty. I do like the color, just wish it was a tad bit darker, but honestly maybe I did something wrong? I've been coloring my own hair for 20+ years, but there is always a time when you flub up, so you never know.

I used this as a mixer to darken my green hair (I use GDY Kowabunga) and it worked very well for that purpose. I will say that Dopamine seems a little less pigment packed than I expected in a black semi as I had to use a bit more than I would with other black dyes. For my purposes that's not a negative as it allows for better control in mixing and not overshooting and getting a way darker color than desired. However, I did dock a star because of that as others may be expecting a rich, deep black when using it to mix.The claim that it doesn't bleed seems accurate, when I washed I only saw my green and no blue or purple tint to the water. It does seem to be a warm purple based black though as my green is definitely a warmer tone (not quite olive but approaching that). So that's something to be aware of when formulating.Overall I do like Dopamine quite a lot and will likely continue using it as my black semi of choice.

I bought one of these hoping it'll be enough for my halo dye I was doing. I was able to saturate my hair and then some extra but I'm very disappointed with how it turned out. I followed directions to a t. Sectioning, saturating, using a brush and gloves, I even left it on for 45 minutes instead of 35 because even though the processing looked good I was being cautious because this isnt a brand I used before. I rinsed my hair with cold water and only conditioned and my hair is so splotchy and is barely purple. It's purple ish, blonde, and silver in different places. Just looks like I left purple toner on too long. I'm so disappointed because the reviews looked good and I've heard a lot of good things about this brand. Tbh ruined the experience for me and I won't be buying again but if you think this would work for you it smells great if you hate the typical hair dye smell, has super cute packaging, and comes in multiple vibrant colors.

I've used Overtone's blue for about 5 years. I was looking for something that might last a little longer and not stain everything my damp hair touches. This isn't it. This washes out even faster and stains EVERYTHING. Like, if I so much as run my fingers through my hair even when it's dry, my nails are stained blue. And yes, I rinse it out thoroughly after applying.

I’ve ordered this dye in different colors three times now, the last time being after hurricane Helene. When I opened the package the box was moldy, even going through to the dye bottle. I wonder if the warehouse got flooded or something, since I haven’t had this issue before. I’m highly allergic to mold, not sure if I want to risk reordering, though the dye is great and washes out beautifully.

Impressed with the colour payoff! It covered my fading unicorn combo of colours well and turned out the colour I was promised from the box.Very cool packaging, nice consistency and good coverage. I noticed no particular scent, which i actually would have quite liked but can definitely live without.Didn’t stain my skin too badly, it washed right off. I noticed no particular staining of the shower, but did in the sink - though I’ve found dye stains in the sink typically fade quite quickly even if they look permanent 😅
