Cat won't eat them? Try Cat Soup!
We tried this a few months ago for our 20 year old cat. She ate a couple small portions of dry food with one tablet sprinkled at a time, she then started to turn her nose up and not eat it at all.A month ago we were worried about the worst as she was barely eating anything, got her checked by a vet and she is apparently doing great for her age, just now the arthritis is most likely bothering her, we mentioned these tablets and the Vet didn't raise any concerns with us trying them.Rather than pay for all sorts of tests and risk new medical painkillers at her age, we decided to retry these capsules. For the past 4 weeks or so we have sprinkled them and mixed them into Felix Cat Soups (she won't eat the chunks, has only ever licked the jelly and gravy and left wet food even as a kitten) BUT SHE WILL EAT THESE CAPSULES WHEN MIXED INTO THE CAT SOUP!!For years she has been dry food only but won't go near these capsules over dry food due to the strong scent (they are intense) and taste I assume. The soup seems to mask it and is a great portion size too to make sure she consumes the whole dose in one sitting. My Dad and I panicked not long ago today as we saw her go to jump off a bed that she can just about climb onto but she jumped down with ease! Her back legs didn't collapse like they have done recently when jumping off the sofa which is lower than this bed. No sounds of pain, she kept walking straight after! Nor does she trip and fall when trying to turn around. These tablets are amazing! Of course she is 20 years old so they can't help everything, but knowing the vet gave her the okay to come home and we now have a way to easily get her to take her 2 doses a day, I would highly recommend these as a cheap first option for cats struggling with arthritis.Should things progress for the worse we will not hesitate to get her checked over again and do as the Vet suggests.

Time will tell
Not had long enough to say if the work or not but after reading the reviews it's worth a try. I have two British short hair around 15yr old ish. One of the is having issues with arthritis in her joints and the other cat is fairly large no major signs yet if arthritis but the won't hurt her, so I have decided to give them both the powder and see if there's any improvement in the arthritis. The cat that needs them is a real fussy eater won't eat cat soup won't eat cat food with anything in it. So I'm using a small amount of butter on a spoon, mixing the powder into the butter then putting the butter on the cats front paw and they love locking the butter off and having there meds at some time. Hopefully will see an improvement shortly.

Seem to be working well
I bought these to add onto my cats food as she is starting to get on in her years. She previously fractured her pelvis about 7yrs ago. At the time the vet didn't operate, instead she had to stay in a special cage for 6 weeks to let it fully heal...she hated every minute. The vet did warn that once she started to get older she would more than likely have problems with her mobility, esp her back legs. Cats are very good at hiding pain and so it can be hard to know when they need to start needing a bit more extra help.I had noticed that she was spending more and more time indoors asleep. We originally got her from a cat rescue centre, she had been in a family home with another cat but was bullied which made her stop eating and her coat was very dull and she just wasn't happy.I had previously lived in a large house that had a huge garden backing onto fields, she would often catch mice, birds and even a squirrel once was left on the doorstep by her...how she managed that I do not know to this day as it was nearly as big as her! When we moved to a more modern house with a much smaller garden and lot's of other cats in the same road, she became very timid and nervous. She stays to a set area, she is still a bit of a diva, only coming in the front door even if the back gate is open. If on occasion she has to jump over the back gate (waist height) she has sometimes landed in an odd way. I started giving her the supplement everyday sprinkled on top of her food. We have really noticed a difference, even to the extent that we can often hear her going crazy upstairs chasing her cat toy and having that 'look' in her eyes when she wants to play and run around. She's back in charge of the dog, although he sometimes doesn't understand that she doesn't want to play all of the time.I think they have really helped her joints, esp hips and back legs which before were sometimes stiff. She's a much happier cat, I will keep giving her the supplements as they really do seem to be working. It can be so hard when your pets can't tell you they are in pain or what is wrong so can be a guessing game on trying to help. The supplements are good value (cheaper than buying directly from the vets too) I would def recommend trying if your cat seems to be slower and more wary of jumping or playing.
