Beats the plastic competition hands down!
Could not be happier with this decorative fan. Quiet operation, adequate ventilation, and stylish looks. Easy to install and looks a thousand times better than the plastic model it replaced! One of the light clips slides out for easy light replacement and secure glass fixation. Unable to find anything like this in any building supply store, and they were twice the price at a fancy lighting company. Very happy with the service. Checked my order status online which said "ships in five to seven days" with arrival indicated 9 days down the road from that. Instead it arrived the day after I ordered it- just in time for my contractor!!

Perfect bathroom fan and light
I just finished remodeling my bathroom and needed an overhead fan and light. This light fit the bill perfectly. The best thing I liked was mentioned in other people's reviews. Namely, the lack of corrosion caused by humidity after showering. I haven't had the light long enough to verify the claim. The fan is fairly powerful but still reasonably quiet. I inserted two LED bulbs that give a modest amount of light that is perfect for late night use. The finish and appearance are excellent. The motor and housing seem to be quite good.

Little noisy, but very attractive and easy to install.
Little noisy, but very attractive and easy to install. Trying to figure out what son 1,2, or 3 means is tough. This was supposed to be a very quiet unit and I guess it may be compared to the other ones. It is still easy to tell that the fan is on and working, so it is not a "silent" or even "very quiet" fan. It is not that loud so it's appearance and ease of installation make up for the slightly louder than expected noise.

Stylish and reasonably priced
Elegance for around $100 - We are very happy with our new fan/dome light. The fan works well in our medium-sized bathroom. Note: It's a little more tricky to install vs. a ceiling fan. We knew ahead of time that the fan unit would require us to cut out a small part of the ceiling. Greenboard was required to patch the area before we could install the dome.

Nice Fixture, can't tell it is a fan!
Used this as a replacement when we remodeled our bathroom. Our old light/fan was just a basic "Can" recessed light and fan. This is definitely a nicer fixture. It is quieter than the one I had (15 yrs old), but it is not "Silent". However, that is a good thing because I have friends who got have quieter fans and now they say that they forget it is on and then it just runs and runs. Compliments our brushed nickel shower and plumbing fixtures. Our contractor said it was very easy/routine to install with no surprises.

looks great and ventilation works well as we don't have any ...
looks great and ventilation works well as we don't have any more fogged mirror. not sure about the light fixture though. my electrician tried many different candelabra cfl bulbs but only one made contact with the socket although all worked in other light fixtures. broan sent a replacement light fixture free of charge but it's the same problem. none of the cfls work so i had to revert to incandescent bulbs using 120w instead of 14w for now.

A perfect replacement for our old bathroom fans/lights
This was to replace an old but failing bathroom fan and light. This was not designed for room-side installation, but our handyman made it work. It is reasonably quiet and exhausts a decent amount of air. We put in LED bulbs, and the lighting is perfect. We purchased two units in two different finishes and are happy with both.

As Advertised - with limitations
As Advertised - Bathroom fan with light with a brushed nickel finish. The glass shade and metal finish matched the other bathroom fixtures. Installation was easy and simple, except for the (seemingly) extra mandatory cuts to fit and mount the unit in the ceiling and the shower of fiberglass insulation. The unit is quieter than the 50 CFM standard (cheap) bathroom fan, but I was expecting a quieter fan based on hearing 2.5 scones fans at the home improvement store. Two possible factors (1) the old ducting was 3" so a reducer was required (4 to 3"); (2) the demo units at the home improvement stores are mounted to solid plywood not suspended over a drywall ceiling. This could account for the increased noise. Installed two 60 watt equivalent B10 candelabra instant on flourescent bulbs which could be brighter. The output is okay, but it is definately less that a standard 60 watt equiv flourescent. Because of the moderate noise and slightly dim light it gets four (4) stars.Light creep around the edges of the ceiling base plate caused by the textured finish were fixed with the install of 3/8 round closed cell backer rod insulation (cylinders) stuffed in the cavity from the inside. With strong winds you do hear the baffle closing in the 4" duct.Overall, satisfied with the purchase. Especially since an upgrade to a 0.7 or 1.0 scone bath fan with light requires a 6" duct adapter.
