Had difficulty shaving matted fur on my Maine Coon with the previous clipper I had. I think this was mainly due to the very fine fur they have. After some research I settled on this model and glad I did. It works exceptionally well and shaves the matted sections off with ease! It's also nice and quiet and doesn't upset her at all.
