Great product
Easy to use and program. With "peak hours" costing so much more on the electric bill, this is the perfect solution!

Love the GeoFence feature. T6 working great so far - I will update if not
First off the listing I now see for this Honeywell T6 Pro I purchased as I write this review now looks like some cheap old fashioned basic thermostat. And there is no multicolored handheld remote that is shown in the second picture in the listing???? This is (was) a high-end wireless smart thermostat at a great price. Perhaps Amazon made a mistake and will correct the listing by the time you read this review. whatever - I don't know.Anyway I replaced my Honeywell Lyric Round with a Schneider Wiser smart thermostat when my Round died 2 years and 1 month after I bought it (one month out of warranty). The Lyric Round had another major flaw (other than dying) that soured me (see below) so I decided to try the Schneider Wiser instead of another Honeywell product. However when I came home on three different occasions to find my home at around 47, 52 and 55 and the Schneider indicating it was 67 in the house (therefor NOT turning the furnace on) that was enough. Had I been away longer my pipes and possibly my cat would have froze. The Schneider doesn't offer the geofence feature which was a real plus for me with the Honeywell. You can download an app for your android to monitor the temp and provide some type of geofence with the Schneider but it is a generic app that Schneider doesn't really support. Either way I wouldn't risk my cat or pipes freezing again. So I returned the Schneider Wiser. I really liked the Honeywell Home app with built in geofence so I ended up buying a Honeywell Lyric T6 wireless that works with the Honeywell Home app.The Honeywell Lyric T6 also doesn't have the flaw that the Lyric Round had when using a lithium battery without a C wire because you don't have the option to use a battery in the first place. I replaced the first battery after about a year with no problems being it wasn't dead or even indicating weak. You see the problem is that Honeywell in its ultimate wisdom feels a dying battery only rated a 'notice' on your phone. A notice that gets buried under hundreds of other notices. However Honeywell thinks the humidity dropping below 31 rates an ALERT that you can't miss on your phone and in the app. When I found the weak battery notices buried under all the other notices (user has gone outside the geofence. user is home, etc.) after the heat went off (while I was home thankfully) I couldn't believe Honeywell designed such garbage. That to me is a major flaw. That to me is just plain STUPID.Using a C wire eliminates the battery and the major flaw the Lyric Round had if you used the lithium battery option (just a bad choice that shouldn't even be offered in the first place). With the Lyric T6 you have to use a C wire (no battery option). Both the Lyric T6 and Schneider Wiser came with a C wire adapter. So I decided to give Honeywell another chance. With the Lyric T6 we can fly to Vegas for a week in the winter after filling the auto-cat feeder, liter box and setting up my web cams to check up on the cat AND monitor the temp with the Honeywell Home app. I wouldn't try that with the Schneider after the first time it screwed up.The Lyric T6 hasn't tried to freeze my cat . . . yet.

Works Perfectly
Works Perfectly with Honeywell C-wire adapter. Auto changeover, filter change reminder, compressor protection and the backlit display are great features. Easy to install and program. Resideo technical support is super.

Solid once it is successfully connected
Devices works as expected, the app works well but whoever is responsible for writing and approving the Wi-Fi configuration instructions needs to rethink their career choice

Easy to install.
Requires common (C) wire. Usually the blue wire. If you don’t know how to hook it up then call the HVAC guy. It will be cheaper to buy the thermostat online and call the HVAC guys to hook it up than buying one off the truck.

Excellent drop-in replacement for a non-networked T4 thermostat
Exactly what I needed. We're in a rental that had a T4 model thermostat. With this, I was able to simply copy the setting from the original unit and swap them out, since they use the same wiring block on the wall. When we move out, put the original back and call it good. Until then, we have a programmable thermostat that's actually useful.

WiFi Interferance Causes App to Go Offline Constantly
The Honeywell thermostat suddenly would not communicate with the WiFi App and reported a WiFi Radio Error. We discovered an issue when using 2.5 GHz WiFi. Read on for our test results.-- WiFi INTERFERENCE APLENTY: The Thermostat would report WiFi Radio Error after a few minutes, and it would not respond to the Resideo App, but the wall-mounted unit would still operate normally, it just could no longer be controlled by the app over WiFi.After spending six weeks troubleshooting, working with the Resideo Support (who were very helpful), and even replacing it with a new unit where the problem still occurred, it can only be WiFi interference. We even moved any nearby WiFi devices, but they would still drop out. After it goes Offline, the Thermostat would never reconnect on its own, and we would have to pull it from the connector and plug it back in. usually, it would work for a few hours and then go offline again. The Thermostat does not have a 5 GHz WiFi option which might have helped if we could connect to that.-- GOOD SUPPORT: The Resideo support was good, quick to respond, and knowledgeable about the Thermostat while not solving my issue, providing tips to help troubleshoot.-- THERMOSTAT WORKS WELL: The Thermostat, either via the panel or over the app with WiFi, works well.....when it works. It's simple to use.-- WARRANTY WARNING: If the Thermostat is a Pro model, it means a contractor installed it, and if it fails, the contractor will want labor costs to replace it. There is no method to have a warranty replacement provided to a consumer, whether a contractor or a Pro model. The labor cost will far exceed the cost of purchasing a replacement that you can so easily install yourself. It simply pulls out from a socket, and a new one is inserted. A contractor wants $300 to do that. Conclusion: This model thermostat is one to avoid.

Best thermostat
Best thermostat out there. We had a ecobee that came with our home when we purchased it. Noticed it was always so warm and humid. My brother which works on heat and air came over and checked everything out and said it was yhe thermostat so we ordered this one and man did it make the difference. Our house is nice and cool now. Highly recommend!
