Very helpful and full of useful information. It would have been nice if a bit more concept art was included, but it’s another top notch future press guide.

FuturePress consistently makes guides that are as much works of art as they are functional companion pieces to some of the most legendary games of all time.A game like Armored Core, Elden Ring, Bloodborne or any of the Souls titles deserve the highest quality guides in terms of accurate and usable content, materials used, and beauty.Like their other guides, this one does not disappoint. I may have gotten lucky with shipping, but my copy arrived well packaged and completely undamaged.The guide has a plastic protective sleeve which has some basic graphics along with the title of the guide on it, the cover beneath has some fairly understated but clean looking artwork of a mech. The book has a good heft to it, comparable to their other guide books.Opening the book, you can tell right away that the quality of the cover, binding, and paper are very high. The paper used for the pages is especially nice feeling and has extremely sharp text and images, and vibrant colors.The majority of the guide consists of covering in detail two main focuses: Stats and descriptions of the many, many parts with which you build your AC’s, and maps and strategies for conquering the large amount of missions, levels and bosses within the game.A great deal of attention to detail is provided here, with in-depth looks at the different types of weapons and their effectiveness, closeups and cutaways of maps and levels, and recommendations on how to deal with the challenges therein.While the nature of game updates and balance patches means that specific numeric values for weapons, damage, etc. will likely change slightly over time, the builds and strategies are well written and general enough that they should ultimately remain usable even in the future.This guide is an excellent companion to the game, and is very enjoyable to look through as well as providing valuable info into a game that can be enjoyed for a long long time, thanks to FromSoftware’s excellent game design and long term support of their titles.I recommend completely the guide for anyone who wants a beautiful and functional companion piece to their copy of the game, and in fact recommend the same advice for all FuturePress guides, as they are just perfect to have alongside your copy of Elden Ring and other games. No other guides are even close to the same level as these, not even remotely.

Though you can watch walkthroughs and get most of this info online, it is a pretty solid book. Good quality. Definitely for lovers of the game.

I was one of the first to pre-order and got the special edition cover FP included in the first set of copies, and it's got a lot of scratches including one long one that goes across the front of the major decal. This is all due to how poorly packaged the book was by Amazon. There was no packing material, it was just in a box free to bounce around and get scratched as it went through the entire shipping and delivery process. Very frustrating as they have done the same thing with the Elden Ring guides and even D&D 5E collector's edition set.Aside from Amazon's issues, the book itself is awesome as is any other guide made by FP. Beautiful, detailed, and exceptional in quality.

I have all the future press books they've done for From Software, all The Elden Rings/Sekiro/Dark Souls, so I wanted this one for the collection.The book is fine but somehow the outer plastic see through sleeve is completely destroyed and not salvageable. The book arrived packed well in a box with padding and the box wasn't beat up, so I have no idea why the sleeve is completely destroyed.It's a great book (like all the others) but be aware if you purchase it that the smokey grey see through sleeve on yours might not be in good condition.

The book, itself, is absolutely beautiful. Hardcovered, well-bound and superbly illustrated, this guide is a wonderful addition to the FROM collection. It even comes with a nice dust jacket. My book, however, arrived pretty damaged, while the packaging was fine. The dust jacket was broken and partially fragmented, and the book appeared as though it had been dropped more than once prior to being packaged and shipped, as several corners of the guide were heavily crushed. I'm exchanging for a new one. Again, the book is totally worth it, provided it has not been damaged. Hopefully, the new one won't be...

As always, another massively in-depth book from Future Press.Unfortunately Amazon, you’re getting it back. Amazon continues with their crappy packaging of books. Why do you continue to pack books loosely in a box with a minimal amount of bubble wrap so they rattle around and get banged up? Thank you for continuing to waste resources. Do better!
