Pinzon 500-Thread-Count Pima Cotton Sateen Pillow Cases - Set of 2, Standard, Flint Blue

These are not cotton. They are microfiber. They are soft enough and slick like sateen cotton.But I was purchasing 500 thread count cotton.Very disappointed. Wish I hadn’t had my husband wash them or I would have returned these.I expect to get what I order.

I am at a complete loss about any complaint listed about these pillowcases because I think they are quality! Frankly, I wasn't "expecting" them to be this nice, but I just needed extra pillowcases! When I opened the package, they had a somewhat satin feel to them, but when I washed them and took them out of the dryer (DRYING ON DELICATE ONLY), they came out with a slightly less "satin" feel, but still VERY nice feel. They were a little bit wrinkled (but not much since I dried them on "Delicate,") but that's certainly not anything to complain about, considering the excellent quality. The secret is to just take them out of the dryer once they're dried, and fold them. I use the palm of my hand to press down when folding to make them almost look as if they WERE pressed!To the readers who complained about the pillow cases being scratchy, try using fabric softener (or a dryer sheet) and simply dry on "Delicate." Maybe that's what your problem is???I plan to order more, so that lets you know how much I like them. .

I've had these sheets since December and I love them so much I just ordered a second set. These sheets replaced a set that were such a poor fit it was a weekly struggle to get the bottom sheet over the mattress and then the top sheet barely covered the mattress sides. I struggle no more. These sheets fit quite nicely and feel so much better than my old ones. Yes they do wrinkle. So what? I'm not that picky and they ARE 100% cotton after all. The only way they WOULDN'T wrinkle would be if they'd been treated in some way. If you are expecting a very soft feel these sheets may not be for you. I particularly like the crisp feel of them. I could not be happier. I should add that my husband is a "sheet kicker" and I've finally conceded the battle of the "tucked in top sheet". I generally just leave it loose. sort of like a bed spread. I add whatever blankets etc. that the weather demands over the top and then bring the sheet back over the blankets to protect them from soil. The old sheets weren't long enough to stay pulled over, but that's no longer a problem. Such a relief to be able to delay washing blankets/comforters as they stay fresh longer.

These pillow cases feel amazing against the skin. Silky, cool, and lightweight.I am a big guy and I get night sweats easy if I am not sleeping on the right type of sheets. I avoid sateen weaves because they make me sweat. These have the silkiness of sateen, but not the hotness or sweatiness of sateen.I really like these 100% Pima Cotton pillowcases. I wanted them in a grey color, but I had to settle for the white. But I still like them a lot.

I haven't used them, need to wash them first. The flint blue is a good color for me but the size was described as 21 x 33 which I need for fluffy pillows. In reality they are just a basic 20 x 30. It is unacceptable to let a consumer believe that a product is a certain size and when you actually see it in person you have been misled. Why can't these manufacturers be honest. I just can't be bothered sending them back since they are very inexpensive to begin with. Just be honest, please!!!

Fabric is nice, but the measurements given are totally wrong. I ordered these because the specs said they were 21"x33" for the standard size. Not so! They measure 20"x30", which means they'll be even smaller once washed! Not happy, but I can still use them on smaller pillows, and the price was so low that it wouldn't pay to return them. Won't order this brand again, though. they must not own a tape measurer!

I wasn't sure about these pillowcases when I purchased them the first time. They felt a little scratchy at first. I've now had the first set I bought for two or three years and they are awesome. They are crisp and soft and feel really high quality. I rotate through my sheet sets. I realize when these pillowcases rotated onto my bed, I'd get really excited to put them on the pillow cases (I know, this is weird, but it's the little pleasures in life, right?). So, I finally got it together to order 8 more and I'm so glad I did! They look great on my bed and really clean and organized folded and stacked together in my linen closet.

These arrived promptly, starched and white and perfectly folded. These are most certainly soft, luxurious pillowcases. Not like chinchilla-soft but soft like running your hand through tall grass. Which sounds lovely and fine until you use them and the truth is revealed: these pillowcases wrinkle terribly. Yes, I followed proper care instructions. Yes, I ironed them. No, it didn't ever truly make them smooth. Keith Richards has less wrinkles than these pillowcases. If I wanted my other pillowcases to look like that, I'd have to wad them up and throw them on the floor. Don't get me wrong, I still like these pillowcases; they feel great against my face which is ultimately most important.

These are excellent. In fact, I don't ever recall seeing pillow cases this good for $10 a pop, especially with free delivery. I would even go as far as saying they are too good to be true. I didn't notice the Pinzon line on amazon before, so I suspect it must be relatively new to Canada. I am not sitting on the fence for long, I am buying a couple of sheet sets, just in case this is introductory pricing. I appreciate reviews that let me know when a product that is good. I appreciate reviews that stop me from buying a bad product even more. Sadly, this is a case of the latter. I wanted Pima cotton pillowcases specifically for their softness. I was looking to replaceKirkland Pima cotton pillowcases purchased at Costco years ago. These were the best pillowcases I've ever found for softness and durability. I've been looking for something similar to replace them as they are wearing out. I hoped that these pillowcases made of Pima cotton and having a high thread count would be the ones, but I'm sorry to say, they are not even close. They look lovely, have a bit of a sheen and they washed up nicely. I'll give them that. Putting your face on them to sleep at night, however, is another story. They are SCRATCHY as sandpaper! I have no idea how this is Pima cotton, but it is downright uncomfortable to sleep on. Feels like cheap cotton cloth. Maybe after 100 washings they will soften up, but I'm not keeping them around to find out. Save your money!

No... they are not super high quality, but the price to quality ratio is superb! I highly recommend.

Acabo de comprar cuatro fundas hace no más de dos meses y ya tienen manchas de decoloración, como si les hubiera caído cloro, lo cual no es el caso. Ya me ha pasado con otras fundas de color obscuro, de otra marca, que sus tintes no son resistentes a la saliva, por ejemplo. El tinte de la tela no es de buena calidad.

El tamaño es el indicado. La calidad de la tela deja mucho que desear, se ve más fea que las que hemos comprado en supermeercados y tiendas departamentales.
