Good buy
My 2015 charger did not come with one factory. To add one I would have to upgrade my uconnect radio and then add the backup camera for about $2000 total. So I went this route. There is a slight delay once you put it in reverse, not really an issue, the picture quality is not the best but I’m not watching tv or anything so crystal clear uhd picture is not needed. Had my boyfriend install it and forgot to mention the mirror image that other people complained about so he did have to go back and switch the button. So be careful and make sure mirror mode is not on. Glad I purchased this one.

The Seller never respond. I LOST 100USD for no reason !!
I just installed this camera. I was patient and planned out everything while having the manual. The camera did not work. Nothing came up on the screen. This item never worked for me, and the seller nor amazon would care to assist me.I am beyond upset.

Easy setup
This reverse cam arrived a day late but I am glad it was delivered earlier today. I got right into it.I waited for this cam two years ago. It was not available onlike at the time. I did not want the cable one. Though, this still does have cable running from the cam to the transmitter but that's still better than having another two wires going towards the lcd display screen. It took me only a few mins to set it up. I like how it came with two wire taps so it doesn't require you to splice cables. Hook the negative with negative and positive with positive on the reverse lights. Then bammm the backup cam is powered up. I already had the lcd screen powered up by plugging in the ac adapter to the car's cig lighter beforehand. The only complaint I have is the suction cup. It sticks for a while but later it would fall off. I need to find something like a stand. Overall, i love this reverse cam. It is clear and turns on when you put the car in reverse. This is also my first time setting up a backup cam. I drive an 09 Honda Accord. If I can do it then anyone can too. Trust me, it is very easy.I also want to note that sometimes as you're backing up and you may see a bit of fuzziness on the screen, the issue is not the cam. It happens when it picks up wireless signals from elsewhere closeby like an interference. It is not a big deal. I wouldn't worry too much about that.

Works great. Just what I needed.
I bought this backup camera because it was recommended by Scotty Kilmer the mechanic on YouTube. I liked that it is wireless and I did not have to run wires the full length of the car. I found some exposed wires in the trunk and traced which one went to the backup lights and tapped into the wires with the included wire splices. The camera easily mounted behind the top of the license plate and I ran the camera wire next to and through the hole where the tag light is. I mounted the wireless transmitter under the lip of the trunk in the center with the antenna pointing down. There was no room on my windshield, so I attached the monitor to my dash with double sided outdoor mounting tape since the dash has a rough pattern that would not hold a suction cup. It takes a second or two for the camera to power up when I select reverse, but it is worth it because I could never judge where the rear bumper of my car was and I would leave 6 feet of space behind my car. The car I installed it in is a 2015 Dodge Challenger SXT that I recently acquired that did not come with a backup camera and I did not want to go to the expense or trouble of trying to get an OEM camera.

Easy to install, but Interference-prone
Very easy to install, but very prone to interference, which interrupts the signal / image. I installed the camera transmitter inside the brake light housing in the chassis (F-150). Turns out this type of install, even though it hides the transmitter completely, also greatly affects signal strength. Interference does not happen all the time, seemingly affected by humidity in the air, position of occupants, etc., but it does happen. When the interference is light, the image is still viewable; when it's heavy, it disappears completely.I hooked up the camera power to the reverse light cables, so transmitter only turns on when the Reverse gear is engaged. The vampire clips provided worked perfectly.

works great
I mounted this backup camera on my jeep wrangler. You can buy one that works with the factory screen but it was well over two hundred dollars and had to be hardwired. This setup cost about a third of the price and was very easy to install. I mounted the camera in the center of the spare tire and the screen above the mirror. You can mount them just about anywhere you want.

It does work as advertised.
This is a fine product which I would recommend. Only problem is the suction cup won't stick to anything. I haven't tried it on glass and it may work there but anywhere else it's useless.

Works great. Installation is reasonably easy.
Installed on my bride's '06 Honda Pilot. Only took about 2 hours or so. I took my time to install it properly. I'm reasonably mechanically inclined(6 or 7 out of 10). Works well.

Looks Professional
The media could not be loaded. This camera took me 30 minutes to set up, but it was all worth it. In the end, I got a camera that I can look at so that I am 100% sure of what is exactly behind me. Now anyone who is driving the car can appreciate the camera as it provides an extra feature of safety. This camera has many great features including mirroring the screen if you decide to place the camera upside down. This camera also shows you exactly how you are going to reverse, and what it would look like. It also shows you the red lines, which are lines of restriction, that show if you are going to hit something, or if something is in your way and you have no choice but to move forward. Overall, this camera looks like a professional camera that was built in from the manufacturer of the car.

hook up basically easy. did on caravan
works with some jitter of images. need more cable to give you more versatility. hook up basically easy. did on caravan. a good video on youtube, but I modify by drill a hole beside the licence light.also put on the licence screw side. Does not block opening of the hatch. the small connections made it easy to wire up. much better than others. images are clear. Great value for the money

Disappointing and misleading advertisement.
The camera image is very distorted due to the 170degree fisheye lense. Very hard to see anything further than 10ft away. Nothing like the images in the ad. The waterproof camera and wifi sender is good but kind of wasted since the inline transformer and mirror/normal switch are clearly not waterproof and they are in between. I attempted to seal them with silicone and enclose them and connectors in a protective bag so we will see if that works but I doubt it will last for long. Not much else you can do. Also wireless signal is very susceptible to interference so the image is fuzy, jittery, and distorted. Keep your expecrations low because this camera is very poor quality.

It works, delivered on time, good value for money.
pro's: good value for money, works consistently. not bad in dark.con's: install instructions -1. didn't mention to install camera using one of the 2 bolts that secure license plate so, I put it naturally in the middle...stick-on works well, even in Toronto Winter but, license plate right above it, creating a glare/bright spot. next time, to the right bolt side.2. Sticky suction cup (for situating on top of dashboard) started failing after several months.3. Need a handyman or mech. to install all these units as the difficult part was carefully drilling a C shaped cut out of rear plastic license plate light (which will allow wire from outside to be fed into inside of rear door, where reverse light wire is located (and also place where to install/hide remote unit parts)) without breaking it. recommend putting a bit of caulking around wire, here.View is a bit grainy at times, but fine, overall for long vehicles. if you take your time, 1 enjoyable hour on 2003 honda odyssey.Would recommend.

No more blind spots
We were looking for back-up camera since long time for our Camry and this one worked for us.Installation seems bit difficult in beginning but it was easy after I went through few videos and instructions online. There is some delay when you put car in revers but that is acceptable due to wireless signal.Video quality is OK and it does a job.Overall installation was straight forward. One suggestion: Don't finalize your installation right away, I kept wires loose before finalizing it and that helped me. As I had to adjust few things afterwords. I fix up everything after it was working as per my expectations.....This is good product if you are low on your budget and not looking to spend lot of money to mechanic.
