Always wore a Half helmet and I thought that this helmet would be a lot more safer. I did have a full face helmet before and I did like it but this one is better.

I bought this helmet to replace my old worn out helmet. Little did I know that the fist time I wore it would be the last time. Going into a curve/onramp, I hit some sand and my bike slid out from under me. I felt my head hit the pavement HARD, and then I tumbled over and hit my head again. That was one week ago today, and although I have a few broken bones, and a little road rash, my head and my mind are perfectly in tact.Thanks to this helmet. The helmet has some road rash too, but no cracks or breaks.If you are gong to ride a motorcycle, don't ride without a helmet. It saved my life.

Fantastic looking finish on this helmet. I didnt find the fit to be big like many others did. Super light. Only minor beefs I have are the wind noise (not unexpected in an inexpensive helmet) and the cheesy looking istorm logo on the back. I plan to remedy that with a sticker. Unsure about the protective qualities and sure hope I never have to test it. The weight is wonderful on my commute. Shield changes really quick and easy. Mine came with a clear and a smoke shield. Tough to beat for the price. Shipping was fast even to Hawaii.

I know alot about materials, manafacturing and stuff like that. this helmet is falsely advertised.this helmet is simple a THIN (like sheet of paper thin) piece of carbon fiber UNDER a clear plastic shell.the shell of a normal helmet is just a plastic molded to shape, a carbon fiber shell is supposed to be carbon fiber layered with resin in it, molded to shape than hardened(by the resin curing) this creates a very hard strong material.for the price its just an ok helmet but they have nearly the same weight and protection in one of there basic helmets

Fantastic helmet, fit was perfect. I was concerned the fiber would not line up on the seams of there would be some other indication of low quality, but there was NONE, the fiber seams line up perfectly. Incredible value for a top of the line helmet.

I bought this helmet about a year ago. I thought for sure it wasn't real carbon fiber, because for 150 how can it be ? But it appears to be the real deal, and really really light. I can tell when I compare it to the LS2. It makes a huge difference actually, because when you ride, you need to look from side to side, and with this helmet it takes no effort. My only concern is the protection, and DOT certification. I'd like to know if that DOT was assigned to this helmet or the 1storm company. Also, they don't seem to have a great web site, with lots of information about their products, which I don't like.
