ZUMBA Sweat Control - 5.1 Fl Oz - Post-work Antiperspirant Spray for Face - Sweat Less Body Antiperspirant Spray For Women & Men - No Stain, Cruelty Free, SLS & SLES Free

I tried to do some digging as far as whether this stuff is supposed to be effective upon first use, but there isn’t much information available outside of what’s been listed here on Amazon as well as on the Zumba European website (it’s made in Germany). This antiperspirant spray does not yet appear to be listed on the US site, but it’s obviously available because here is a photo of it in my tiny lady hand. I believe there are other products where you have to use it for a few weeks before you start noticing a difference. Since I can’t seem to find anything that confirms this, I feel I can review this product after only a couple of days of testing.I sweat like a farm animal. I don’t do Zumba. I don’t need to do Zumba to sweat like a farm animal. Why? Because menopause is rotten, that’s why. I also rarely drink caffeine, but when I do, my sweating increases. So I had some coffee and decided the best way to test would be to thoroughly cleanse the skin, and then only apply this spray on half of my face. I also applied it on an arm pit and on one foot (I’m also blessed with stinky feet, hooray), just out of curiosity, but also because this spray is listed as a face and body spray. Then I went about my housework, purposely choosing the more physically laborious chores.It didn’t take long for the onions to overpower the mildly floral antiperspirant fragrance in my armpit. There was no reduction in wetness, either. When I was done for the day, I checked my feet, and there was no noticeable difference between the two. And then, the face; I was equally as salty and crusty and gross on both sides of my face. Again, there was no difference. I really wanted this to work so I tried the exact same thing the next day and the outcome was the same – no results. I actually have a bottle of Drysol and have been putting off trying it as it doesn’t really work for my routine, but maybe that’s the only course of action I have left. Hopefully you won’t be as gross as I am and this will work for you.Other quick things to note:This antiperspirant spray did not irritate my skin at all.The directions are simple: shake, close your eyes, and spray (but not too close). My sprayer leaked just a tiny bit when I chose to shake the bottle without the colorless cap on the top. Leave it capped for the shake. Also, if you happen to not close your eyes, turns out it doesn’t sting. I'll grant an extra star for the liquid being idiot proof.The floral fragrance is very, very mild and dissipates almost immediately. At first I thought it was too feminine for men but it goes away so fast that it won’t matter.

This is total rubbish and made my face actually sweat more not less.Waste of money and time spraying it into my face. Really disappointed as I had high hopes for this product.

I sweat profusely. I thought this was a good thing to try because sometimes it’s a little embarrassing on a hot summer day. Summer is over and the temperatures have cooled down a little bit but I went ahead and use this on a day that I was going to be really busy. It says spray on your face but I always get nervous doing that so I sprayed it on my hands and rubbed it onto my face. I also rubbed it under the bra area, etc.. because I saw that another person did that in a review, and let’s be honest, those areas are far worse than the face. I noticed a slight decrease, but I didn’t notice enough that I would buy this on the regular. I really wanted to like it but I found that the smell also mixed with my sweat poorly and it just didn’t smell good later, that’s definitely a body chemistry thing so I’m not knocking off points for that. Overall, I think this reduced my body sweat maybe 15% which for some may be plenty but for a heavy sweater it’s definitely nothing noticeable.

I exercise regularly, at-home or in the gym, and a product like this ZUMBA Sweat Control grabbed my attention because I am a heavy sweater, in the hot & humid summer months.Unfortunately for this review, I received this spray when winter is approaching, so I won’t be able to give it a try in the extreme heat, while I’m out on my hiking trails, anytime soon.But, this 5.1 Fl Oz bottle arrived properly sealed, gives off a very nice scent, and has not stained any of my tee shirts.You just hold the bottle a few inches from your face, or anywhere on your body where you’re more prone to sweat, and give it 4-5 sprays.I’ve used it a few times, only on my face so far and feel like it may possibly work; or maybe it’s just that initial cooling effect that’s keeping my body temperature lower; as I’ve never sprayed anything on my face before a workout.Honestly, only time will tell if it does what it claims to do; as I’ll try it out next summer, while outdoors, when my entire body is pouring sweat during yard work or while hiking.If this sweat spray works then, I’d keep it in stock.
