A Sound Upgrade for Your Ride
I was looking for an audio upgrade for my car without having to take out a second mortgage. After some research, I decided to give these Pioneer speakers a shot, and I am so glad I did. The sound quality is incredible—clear, crisp, and with a surprisingly deep bass response for their size. The installation was a breeze, especially since I had the speaker plates to help. These speakers dropped right in and immediately elevated my daily commute. My old car stereo sounds like a high-end system now. I'm hearing details in songs I've listened to for years that I never knew were there. This is a must-have for anyone looking to get great audio on a budget.

Amazing replacements especially for crap oem speakers
They make me want to break down and order another pair in 6 1/2 in. They sound really really good. Will probably sound even better when paired with a subwoofer.

One problem. The grills don't attach.
First off, they sound great. I hooked them to an amp and they can handle the power. The problem is, the grills don't attach to the speaker. It's a horrible design. I had to put screws through the grill to get them to stay put. So if you're installing these in a door on the outside of the door panel, you might want to get something else. Otherwise, just get some longer screws and put them through the grill.

Sound great! May have to reboot radio after installation.
Replaced all 4 speakers in my mini van with these. I have a Pioneer dash unit. Sounds amazing! I did have to reboot the radio because somehow during the process of installing them the rear speaker output shut off in radio. After rebooting and adjusting the sound they are nice and crisp and clear! Also in my Odyssey I had to cut and reuse speaker hardware from originals in the rear applications.

Small and Convenient Size
Clarity is excellent, however, bass is non existent. Seriously, what can one expect from a speaker of this size?Suggestions: Connect a subwoofer to make up for the loss.

Can't lose with Pioneer.
I love good sound, I love a good deal, and I hate the stock speakers that every manufacturer used in the '90s.So when I compulsively purchased another vehicle I didn't need ('95 Volvo Turbo Wagon) I immediately got to ripping out the haggard stock audio. I've thrown set after set of low-end pioneer speakers at cars over the years, and never been disappointed. Crazy affordable, great midrange/highs, and work wonderfully with the power an aftermarket deck puts out.No one would call these audiophile-grade, but they're insanely better than the Boss/Pyle/no-name trash that usually hovers around this price point. Try a set. For the price of a tank of gas they're way better than they have any right to be.
