Amazing device
As always, these devices are just brilliant. Takes some thinking or researching to install but work so well. Totally worth the price.

I love these little bad boys!
I love these Shelly relays! They’re so versatile, easy to install, easy to setup, have a great user interface within the app & seamlessly integrate into most all smart home eco systems. I have these little bad boys all over my property. Behind dumb switches to make them smart, behind 1 switch controlling 2 circuits, in line w my outdoor lighting old school timing box (to make it smart) so that when i lose power, i don’t have to manually go out there & change the time. I have them behind stadium light switches to monitor the power, make sure the lights aren’t left on for too long & to control them from anywhere. I even figured out how to use a shelly 2pm to control the motor function of pool cover! now I can automate the cover opening before my waterfalls/slides run their automatic flush cycle everyday and have it wait 10 minutes & close the cover again. All of that done automatically without me doing a darn thing! Pretty frickin cool! And they’re so inexpensive to boot! Can’t say enough good things about these bad boys. If you have a need or problem to solve that traditional circuitry, switches or plugs can’t handle, i bet some creative thinking and a Shelly can do the trick!

Perfect for controlling double gang independent switches.
This was exactly what I was looking for. I've always had good experience with Shelly products. Set up is easy with Shelly mobile app. Integration to Home Assistant was automatic. I like that I can also configure the device via the Shelly app or the web UI via the IP address of the device.I installed this in our powder room into the two-gang box for my light and fan switches. Much more efficient to install and operate one 2-channel smart relay rather than two separate ones. There is not much room in those boxes.

Single best wireless relay!
I’ve used a lot of different, smart home products and this is by far the most consistent and easiest to use product on the market. This is the only product I would recommend in use with household appliances, switches, relays, and outlets. The response time is exceptional and compares very easily with various smart home systems.I am not an electrician by any means, but I was able to figure it out easy enough. There’s plenty of online resources available.

complete beginner
I am completely new to working with anything electrical and I was able to do this with a lot of trial and error.A few notes. I had a setup that had some 12-gauge wire. One of the 12-gauge wires would not stay clamped down and would come loose, so I scheduled return and got a replacement. For the replacement, the slot was able to clamp 12-gauge wire, but then a different slot couldn't fasten the other 12-gauge wire. However, I discovered that both Shelly's could clamp down on 14-gauge wire without any issues. I am not an electrician, but for my needs I concluded that 14-gauge was sufficient to power a couple light bulbs and a small bathroom fan.I also attempted to install the Shelly on a 3-way switch setup for two switches that have a traveler wire for each. I got one to work, but having trouble with the other due to some sort of conflict with the traveler wire setup. I have no reason to assume this is an issue with the Shelly; someone who knows what they are doing may not have problems with traveler wires. The hardest part of the entire thing was getting everything to fit and also make sure the switches align with the panel.I'd recommend picking up a voltmeter if you don't have one to help figure out which wire is which. Also, you may need wire nuts of a couple different sizes and of course, the wires themselves of the appropriate colors, a wire stripper, and possibly some electrical tape. I got my wires at Home Depot.I like that family members can continue to use the switches as they normally would. Up-and-down switches may swap direction but, let's be honest, this isn't that confusing and for people for whom it is, a button can be installed instead. After installation, I was able to easily integrate with Home Assistant and set a bathroom fan timer once the light turns off after a shower. I also discovered that my bathroom bulbs somehow were not LEDs, so the power monitoring has already come in handy. For my other Shelly, I'll use it to turn automate the garage lights. This has been one of the most rewarding personal projects I've done this year and I can't wait to do more - in particular, trying to automate turning the lights off for family members that leave them on all the time. That said, I am hesitant to mess around too much with traveler wire switches until I have a better grasp of how to best use them with Shelly devices.Edit: After installing a couple more, if you have a hard time with getting the 12-gauge to stay clamped, I found that compressing the end with plyers to make more of a rectangular surface results in it staying nice and tight. The traveler wires aren't hard to manage if you just install the Shelly on the load switch, assuming you have a live wire there.

Great Switch
Needed this for some home automation and it works great with my Smart Things.

Doesn’t work with standard 12 gauge wire
Tried installing this product on an outlet powered by standard 12-2 wire, and the size of the wire could not be held in place by the set screws on the device. Kept loosening and the cable would dislodge/pop out. I read other reviews around this concern but tried my luck. Replaced my first order and then the second order once the neutral could not be secured in the device (consistently popped out of the sensor), was afraid of the cables not being secure in the outlet box once I completed the job. Ultimately determined not worth the integrity of my electrical outlet having this sensor, as the hot and neutral cables could not be secured in the sensor. Wish this was not the case as I very much was looking forward to the functionality of the device.

Easy to Install and Easy to Set up
Super easy to install and connected to WiFi without any problems at all.Fit my 12gage solid copper wire just fine.BEWARE - the set screws strip out SUPER easily. I stripped one but fortunately am only using a single circuit so was able to swap my wire to other circuit and using just that one now.Shelly App is easy to use so far - hopefully it won't shut off features after using it for some time and require paid subscription, that would be not be awesome.
