Why do these nets not work for XT models or models with defrost, heat & ventilation system?

That's because different models have different models. For example, in some models, the only place to install the net is in front of the passenger side (which means you can only install the longer of these 2 storage nets).

Should we drill holes or cut the push pins to install the nets?

No. Listening to the voice of the customer, we have purposely upgraded this net, no more drilling or cutting, just insert easily. We also added sticker to the bottom of the nets to keep items from falling off.

Can we easily reach over the nets to grab items?

Yes. There are elastic bands on both sides of the nets, with space on the top for hands reaching. Besides, there are zips for accessing items in various areas. You can also watch the intro video above, shows a live shot of the item being grabbed.

Does the nets itself stretch or just can tie down items?

The mesh of the nets is made of nylon, so they don't stretch as much as they hold things in place, prevent items from falling out, and keep the console tidy. Beside, elastic bands, reserved space above, and zippers, still ensure easy access to items.
