My little one just turned 5 year old and my wife and l finally found some time and money to set up his own bedroom (it used to be a storage/office space). We've got some kids furniture from our relatives so we just needed a bed. We chose this type of bed because it looks very matched to the rest of the furniture. Almost the same color and nice smooth finish. It's very cool bed and my son loves it from first sight. For now the gate is the coolest part for him. He never jumps over the fence although he easily could, but instead uses the door. He even uses the latch properly, he always closes the door after leaving the bed. He is taking it very seriously... He is being very serious about it. The bed needed mattress and its better to get the 6" thick or less as per recommendation. We use regular twin mattress but there is a little space on each side so maybe xl twin would fit as well. The thicker mattress does not work with the door. The bed came in one, kind of heavy box. Very fast shipping. Assembly was pretty straightforward and the included manual shows everything. Good to use a power drill for faster installation but be careful to not overtight any screws, it will damage the wood. After assembly this bed is pretty sturdy so for a little kid its perfect choice. But please remember: this bed is for kids! Even though it's rated up to 200 lbs. weight capacity, I'm sure no grown up should be trying it out. Could this product be cheaper? I'm sure it could but we didn't really have to buy any other furniture pieces so we didn't mind to pay the money. Overall we are very happy for this purchase.

The media could not be loaded.  It was easy to assemble. The only thing is that it does seem a little bit flimsy put together, but that doesn’t bother us much it just stays in place. My daughter is able to get in and out of it very easily and I get so much peace, knowing that she cannot crawl out of it, and I love that she has so much space to roll around as she sleeps. The size that we got in these photos is a queen. It is a good value for your money!

This is a great bed! After looking at the 100 different options of floor beds Amazon has to offer, we decided on this one. I am really happy with it, it looks nice, it's sturdy, and looks worth more than what we paid for. It was also really straight forward in assembling and didn't take long. I am now able to lay in bed with my son when needed and he has room to roll around. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because when we opened the box, the bed had this really strong chemical smell which lasted a few days. So, I would recommend opening the box and letting the pieces air out before your child sleeps on it.

The media could not be loaded.  I’m very pleased with this beautiful natural wooden floor bed which I ordered for my toddler son. I was pleasantly surprised to see the wood is solid and just smells like wood. I haven’t installed it in my son’s room yet, as we are about to transition off the crib, but I’m confident in the quality of this twin bed and am secure that he will be safe and comfy in it. I’m not worried about assembly, the instructions are clear.

This bed was super easy to put together and everything seemed to be a good quality. The hinges for the gate do some to close all the way unless you latch the gate. Not a big deal but worth noting. Our daughter loved the bed and likes to open and close the gate and climb in and out. I recommend if you are in the market for a floor bed!

It’s perfect for my sons room. It’s actually a lot nicer than I thought it was going to be for the price. We decided to keep the door off so he can freely go on and off of it without having to worry about climbing over it or opening it. It’s a very easy and quick set up, took me about 45 minutes with a 9 month old crawling all over and trying to “help”. I have seen a few reviews saying there’s gaps between the edges but mine seems to fit well. Only complaint I have is there was a weight limit sticker right on the front in the center that didn’t wanna come off.

This bed frame couldve been real nice but as i was attaching each piece it was not even the right number there were two of the same pieces which i had to work with did not end up well. I was not able to screw the bottom of each left and right side. Only leaves the top screwed on so it is not stable at all. I would ask for new parts but i rather order a different style.

I brought this bed frame a few weeks ago, and I was going to return it before it arrived, since I found something less expensive, with bed slats. The return shipping cost too much and decided to keep. My husband put it up last night, he said it was easy to put together, but it is flimsy. I suggest putting against a wall, so your toddler or child won’t rock it. It is also very dusty, so clean off before putting new bed without the plastic. One of the wooden rails seems slightly bent, but overall all it’s gets the job done for being a normal bed frame.
