I have to give these a solid 4.8 stars! They punch way above what I expected!I ordered these boots because there was an unexpected cement drilling job that came up, and I didn’t have any work boots to use. I got them in black (I wanted a different color but they weren’t available to ship in time unfortunately).I was on the fence of picking these over a different style boot, because I wasn’t sold on the side zipper idea (I thought the side zipper looked a bit funky). Upon arrival, I was impressed with the black color. I put them on, and they weren’t very comfortable. They looked a bit big, but they’re boots, and my pants would be covering the top anyways.First day on the concrete job and I was so glad I bought these boots. My feet have a tendency to get very tired from standing and walking all day when wearing tennis shoes. So I was concerned my feet would just be so beat and tired by the end of each work day. Well, my feet didn’t hurt at all! A solid week and a half has gone by, drilling concrete all day, lifting heavy items, walking a a lot, and my feet haven’t hurt once! The ankle support is really good, providing great flexibility but stiff enough to give your ankles/feet support. The boots lace up tight enough to my feet. The padding inside is very comfortable. And the zipper made a massive difference in the comfort of putting on and taking off the boots every day.I’m so glad I bought these. Very good price. Fast shipping. Lightweight. And they also seem durable enough to justify its small price. I highly recommend these boots to anyone needing boots.I would give these a 5-star rating, but I don’t really have anything to compare these boots to. So I give them a 4.8 for that reason as I know they aren’t perfect, but they are good enough to do hard jobs with all day comfort.

bought on sale for just over $50 so the price was perfect to try these out. I liked the fact they had a zipper and the 8 inch height. Once i got them i first noticed the cool design and how good they looked. First time trying them on, instantly loved how they felt, very good cushion. I have now wore them to my job doing security but I bought them for yard work. So far they held up to a few construction projects, lawn care and hiking. I ordered these as I needed a good sturdy pair of outdoor shoes, both to use frequently, and have in case of emergency. I have wide feet and plantar fasciitis so finding a good pair of any type of shoe can prove challenging, especially for under $150. They are a bit heavy but I like the weight, and barely noticeable while using. I splashed water on them, took my dog for a walk, climbed stairs, and walked around my neighborhood with minimal discomfort, most likely from 'breaking them in'. I'm a size 8.5 wide in womens, so I ordered a size 7 wide since these are mens sizes. Can not beat this pair in terms of functionality, and especially price. They fit perfectly, nice and comfortable, water resistant if not waterproof. No issues with slip resistance on loose gravel and slight uneven ground. Haven't tested it on oil or slippery surfaces yet, but as someone has worked in the food industry for almost twenty years I doubt this will be an issue. Regardless of sex, I think these shoes are fantastic and well worth the purchase!
