The weights were just fine. Came as expected, but the clamps that were supposed to come with it didn’t. I had to contact Amazon to process a claim. It was very confusing for them to understand for some reason. I did eventually get a refund and get to keep the items but it was a stressful situation trying to explain to their help desk in another country what exactly my issue was with my order. Try lifting weights on a bar without clamps… very dangerous. So once again, product is GREAT… but the overall experience was not fun. I guess I’d suggest these, but be prepared for a possible mishap with items shipped to you lol

These weights are a good value. A tad beat up and stinky, but I'll air them out in the garage for a few days.Cant really complain, a tad over a dollar a pound delivered to your front door.

Nearly didnt get these, but I kept looking and researching on Amazon. I noticed most buyers said the rubber smelled, the ones with grab holes were sharp, but the vintage buyers loved them . I dont mind the flat style of theses standard weights, the plates have no damage and raised letters and numbers were painted correctly and havent rubbed off yet. The box is about 3 inches tall, with banded wraps on 4 places, packege was then shrink wrapped tightly and weather pruff. these weights are accurate in weight, and box did have the clips in it compared to many whom report they didnt get theres. Also came in 2 days from amazon and remember, these are the VINTAGE style plates. These were also the olympic size. These also fit my olympic dumbells better than my Caps and Marcy do..

I would like to start off by saying other than my 2 issues, these are great plates, not pretty by any means but they get the job done. The one star review is because of 2 reasons. Number 1, my main issue is I never received 1 set of the 5lb plates and never received the set of 2.5lb plates. I only realized once I opened all the individual boxes. It didn’t give me an option to message seller, just the option to return all the items. I didn’t want to go through that whole process since it took a while to get them so I guess I’m out of some money and weights. Number 2, which really is not a big deal but one of the 45 plates came in completely sprayed black (3rd picture for reference). They didn’t bother to paint the letters and numbers. Personally, I think it looks better all black but the fact that they weren’t the same was a bit of a disappointment.

Received weights one week after placing order. Overall these weights have worked really well, they fit well on my 2 inch barbell. Did not have any chips or other damage. The only downside was that the clips did not come and I ended up having to purchase a different set which is the reason for 4 stars.

Bought the complete set for a gift for my son. Delivery was broken up into three different days but fortunately they all made it in time. These look like seriously good quality, we’re a great price and my son uses them every day and is doing so as I write this review.

Priced right. Weight was accurate for my standards. However, the inner diameter of the hole was not 2 inches as stated, which stinks. They were 2 3/32 inch (53mm) inner diameter, which is too much and creates a lot of slop on the barbell to where you need clamps to hold them on straight or they will start to wonder on the bar if doing multiple reps. I'd give them 5 stars if the inner diameter was actually 2" as stated.

I like this because it is a nice set of weights and it works just great. I bit hard to pick it up once on the ground flat but otherwise good products.
