Affordable and capable LTE router for advanced users.
I have used many mobile broadband routers over the last 10 years, in various locations. Both as fail over units to wired internet connections and primary connectivity for holiday homes and business uses. Most of the well known units from Huawei, TP-Link or the badged ones from mobile providers are very limited in functionality. This unit has full RouterBOARD os, so if you want a complicated configuration, this unit will probably do it.Speed wise, using the same Giffgaff / O2 sim card, in the same location, this is outstanding. I recently purchased and then returned a WAVLINK unit, as I was getting a very wobbly 3 to 10 megabits. Compared to a very old TP-Link TL-MR6400 with some small poyting antennas on the window sill I was getting 20 megabits. This Microtik, facing a window, and crudley cable tied to the top of my monitor stand pole, is beating 80 megabits. Its not 5G speed, but this is going to a customer site that is very rural, so 5G irrelevant for this use case.Overall my first impressions are very good. Should I find any issues I will update the review.

Fast rural broadband.
I bought this to replace a system of a mobile router with a 1 metre long pair of 2 x 2 MIMO antenna. The previous system had worked after a fashion but had numerous dropouts during the course of the day. E.g. streaming stopped after 9:00pm. However, it got worse and worse until it was unusable and I had had enough of trying to fiddle.(and boy did I fiddle)I placed this unit on our separate garage with a cranked satellite pole so that it had a clear line of sight though a gap in the trees towards the mobile tower about 8km away across the river valley and two lines of hills. You could just spot it with a pair of binoculars or the navigation light was visible at night. So the view from the unit to the tower was unobstructed. The unit is connected into the house with about 15m of screened 5E cable with surge arrestors at either end. The unit is powered with PoE which is inside the house. With the old system the download speed was about 15-25Mb/s mostly but could drop to single figures or go up to around 50Mb/s (very rarely). With this unit unit 70+Mb/s is attainable regularly throughout the day dropping to around 40+Mb/s (although mostly 50+Mb/s) during busy times. Streaming in 4K at full bit rate is now achievable any time. For work and other internet related things it has made a huge difference. 80+Mb/s might be possible but the highest I have managed has been 76Mb/s. Upload speed is mostly 20+Mb/s.The unit worked out of the box, put in the sim card and connect up the network cable to the WAN socket of our office router, no adjustment needed. Just make sure you take a note (or photo) of the info on the back of the unit to avoid having to climb up the pole again.
