I purchased the DOT version of this helmet, and the fit/finish is better than my $450 full face helmet any day. The connector is strong and simple to use. This is my official 'around the town' helmet!Anyone who quotes the movie spaceballs while describing the size of this helmet is probably itching to tell you their opinion about how the civil war was about taxes, or how Charlie Daniels isn't really racist hes just misunderstood. The fact remains: If youre in gloves, boots, and a leather jacket this helmet looks stunning and has a very confident fit.If you're a baby boomer or Gen X'er, you're likely accustomed to riding with the novelty version of this helmet patterned directly off the German Stahlhelm helmet. its also the helmet that lost two back-to-back world wars, so maybe its not the go-to helmet for keeping you safe on a motorcycle. Skip the cosplay and get a DOT version. its the difference between picking your bike up after you go down, and picking a story to tell the neurosurgeon when he has to scoop a plastic toy out of your skull.

I’ve previously bought 3 Daytona Helmets in the past and have had nothing but good to say about them since. In this items title an description it clearly states “100% DOT APPROVED”WROOOOOONGFirst order of this helmet, upon opening it had no protection bag like it usually does. Figure maybe this is a return. Who knows. Further inspected to find a card attached to the helmet that stated NOT DOT APPROVED. Confirmed this by looking for the DOT sticker on the helmet, and NOTHING .I returned, and waited 2 more days for it to come in.SAME EXACT PROBLEM!!!Except this time, it only the helmet in a plastic bag, no actual product box whatsoever!Ridiculous, I must be crazy to think hopefully it won’t happen a third time, guess we’ll see! If not they keep this hunk of junk!

I’ve read a lot of mixed reviews about this helmet. I received the helmet and it was just as described. I couldn’t be happier with it. I hardly write reviews but the terrible reviews don’t give this helmet justice. DOT approved labeling on rear of the helmet. I used a cloth tape measure to get an accurate measurement of my head. The medium helmet was a perfect fit for my measurement. There is slight lift in the helmet at speeds above 65 mph but that’s to be expected with these style helmets. Even the slight lift did not impede the comfort or feel of this helmet. YOU CANT BEAT THIS PRICE!

Good solid helmet, I have had this for almost two years now and the only issue I have is it is a little tight, but not by much.

I purchased this helmet for my husband as a Father's Day gift. The fit was perfect. His head measured 23 1/4 CM which was borderline L/XL. I opted for the XL helmet and the fit was perfect, Not too snug and not too loose. He immediately put it on and went for a quick ride. The quality of the helmet is awesome. This is the 2nd Daytona helmet my husband has. I will be ordering myself one in a couple of weeks.

Its made well. Its very large. I bought the medium, fits snug just feels like I'm going to fly away.

For the price paid the helmet it decent. The new material smell is a hint of barf. Let it air out and it'll do the job your looking for. I have 58cm head and bought large. Fits good. I see the pictures of people having height being an issue. Probably bought the wrong size. If you want a minimal protection helmet this is a good buy.

I've read other reviewers and tried to go sized up. XL doesn't fit L size (59cm / 23in) at all. This is probably for kids.
