Great quality beef tallow. Not sure about the source of the tallow but it is rendered well so not much of a smell and great for cooking. I’ve used this for cosmetics too and only had to render once more.

I do not normally write reviews but felt compelled to write this one. Beef tallow is already expensive. I ordered the 3lb bucket and if you have to add a sticker asking people to be nice when leaving reviews that should of been my first red flag. If I wanted 2 lbs I could of paid for that at my local store for $19.99. I weighed this and even though I ordered 3lbs it did not meet 3lbs. It filled two of my 400 gram jars and then I had a tablespoon of beef tallow left. I am completely disappointed I couldn’t even return this item if I wanted to. The quality of the oil was great but getting robbed of your own hard earned money is providing a disservice. The taste and texture was fine but again not worth it. You might as well change your packaging seeing as this is clearly an issue.

I love this tallow, it’s perfect. Forest have a strong beef smell/taste so I am able to use it for multiple food items without affecting the flavor much. I would buy this again and in the bigger size! I bought the 3LB and it’s already almost gone in my home. We use it for everything including my skincare. I mix with honey and have a tallow honey balm for my face for this dry weather and haven’t had any issues with breaking out or reactions as it’s just fat and it’s a great quality tallow. I have already recommended this to my friends and family that use tallow as the value for what you get is phenomenal. I pay $16/lb for grass fed tallow in my stores when I am unable to get enough myself from cutting meat.

It's Beef Tallow!! There isn't a lot to say about it. However, there is a very slight smell to it. To my knowledge, the best quality tallow has no smell to it. I don't believe this inhibits it's applications unless you plan to use it for skin care. But as I said, it's a very slight smell. Adding essential oils will take care of it.Definitely a good value I would say. The texture is nice and smooth, no obvious grittiness to it.I used this to season my cast iron griddle. I also cook with it regularly. Tallow has a much higher smoke point then most cooking oils so it doesn't burn as easily. I would buy again!

Try this stuff. I like it better than butter or spray olive oil.

Fast delivery. Looks and smells clean. I use beef tallow for making suet to feed the woodpeckers during the winter months, mixed with all natural crunchy peanut butter. (No sugar/salt) Crisco is a health hazard for living creatures!I use lard for cooking and baking. My next order from this company will be to purchase their lard. Best value for my money.
