I've gained a bit of weight so I'm self conscious about my lower half and and to switch my bathing suit style. This bottom is my new favorite! It has such an awesome fit and it's black so I can pair it with any top. I paired this one with my blue dot tanking (also from Amazon:Avidlove). As for sizing, you can size down! I ordered according to the size chart and got a 3XL. I'm normally a size 12/14 and 46" hips. While the 3XL for very comfortably, the waist band had so much more room! So I ordered down a size, the 2XL, and it's a perfect fit! Not too snug. Great butt coverage! This is a true high waist too! It comes almost up to my bra line! I appreciate the extra coverage and I have a short torso. A longer torso may not come as high so just keep that mind. Fabric is better quality than the price. I think this will last a while.

It was recommended in the other comments to go a size up. I usually wear a medium and so I bought a large. It fits perfect around the thighs and only slightly too large around the waist. I could have probably got away with a medium but I still love it. I am 5'9" and 140 pounds.

I don't often need a bathing suit so I haven't bought one in four years or more since well before I had my daughter and it just doesn't fit like I'd want to now. I was apprehensive but I ordered a XXL, as I am 170 lbs and 5'8. Also I'm more pear shaped if this helps anyone else, with a 32 inch waist and 42 inches thorough the hips. I still have plenty of room in it without being too loose or saggy. I have struggled finding a one piece that covers and fits me properly since I'm a 36B and in order for the bottoms to fit well they were all way too big up top haha. This is the perfect compromise. I can't wait to go buy a new inexpensive top (or a few!) now that I have found a decently made bottom that will give me the coverage I want so that I have fun in the sun with my little one!

Seriously, the best fitting I have gotten off of Amazon! I picked true to size. I am 5'2 and 150lbs. I wear an 8 in jeans. I got a Large. They make me feel like a hot mom!! I got the top from JC Penney(only bc I feel like everyone's chests are different and wanted to try on) but I think I'll try a suit with both next time from this site! Love love love the bottoms!

I wanted to love these bottoms, with all the glowing reviews, however I'm very let down by them. I'm 5'4" and 119lbs with a 26" waist and 36.5"hips, carrying most of my weight in my thighs, for comparison. I ordered both a small and a medium.The small: it fit tight through the waist and stomach, but comfortably so, like it was holding me in without squeezing me to death. However, the bottoms were not large enough to fully cover my backside and the leg openings dug into my thighs and butt, very uncomfortably and giving me a very unflattering quadruple butt where the seams dug in.The medium: the waist and stomach were comfortable, but loose, not quite gapping, but I worried if it stretched from wear it would most assuredly gap and potentially ride down. There was still not enough coverage for my backside, and most disappointingly, the leg openings were hardly bigger than the size small, still digging into my thighs and butt.I had high hopes these swim bottoms would hide the twin mom belly and give me the confidence to rock a bikini again. Alas, I was left with 4 butt cheeks and crushed expectations. Any other pear shaped ladies beware.

Love it! It was completely what i expected. I went by the sizing chart they give so i got a 4xl. Im 5'2'' and 225lbs. After 3 kids my belly is not very pretty anymore and this makes me feel so good!

Love theses bottoms!! I'm 5ft and 108lbs and I wanted some high waisted bottoms and these didn't disappoint! They are definitely high waisted. I ordered a small and they fit like any of my other small bathing suit bottoms. I wore this out the other day at a busy water park and was getting compliments left and right(:

I'm 5'0 and about 220 pounds and I read all the reviews and decided upon the 3XL. I thought I might have to get the largest size but I got the XXXL to be safe, and it paid off. It fits perfectly. No riding up, no moving around. It looks really good. It hugs your figure and is quite slimming. I highly reccomend you read the reviews and decide upon your size from them. If you normally take a large in high waisted bottoms say from Target or Urban outfitters, this will be a perfect size.
