Best weapon against squirrels
I made the mistake of buying the bigger heavier Supersoaker barrage blaster in my squirrel war then found this new model of the scatter blaster (I'd had the previous model which had bust after 2 years of constant use). A word to other oldies after squirrel weapons don't get the barrage blaster its too heavy, there is no pressure, the range pathetic and the aim is feeble. Living at the edge of a wood we felt under siege with no weapons and at last we're back in with a fighting chance with the scatter blaster that forces a good spray some distance under pressure. Also it is small enough to squeeze it through a narrow window from indoors. Squirrels really don't like it and neither would cats.

The 5 shot spray is nice and wide to catch the cats and the range ...
Bought this to scare the cats away that come into our garden. The 5 shot spray is nice and wide to catch the cats and the range is decent. The pump hand action to shoot enables continuous water spraying instantaneously, no need to wait for the pressure to build up to shoot them. It can stay filled and ready by the back door for when the cats are seen. Brilliant.

It has just enough power to reach the roof of my two storey house but better still is the feeling I get once they scatter ...
Very Decent. I have waged war on my neighbours as they seem to think it is acceptable behaviour to feed pigeons handfuls of grain at 7am on a Saturday morning on a flat roof outside my window. I did the British thing by not confronting them and just showing my displeasure by shooting said pigeons with the scatter blaster. It has just enough power to reach the roof of my two storey house but better still is the feeling I get once they scatter and I fire at them like I'm going for gold in Rio.Disclaimer: No pigeons were harmed in the making this review.

Great Poop Cleaner
Great fun, I use this to wash off my dog's poop when he goes on the pavement. I know that's a bit OTT when it comes to dog-care, but if he's, erm, a little on the runny side, i'd hate for someone to step in it & it's not always easy to pick up.

OK
I bought mine through Amazon Warehouse and due to damaged packaging only paid £4.45. For that price it's worth the money, but the power and stated distance of the stream is nowhere near specified, and I think the neighbour's cat will have time to do his business and lick his paws before I get close enough to dampen his fur.

Would not recommend this for either fun or as a cat deterrent
It broke in the first day or two that I got it - about 10 squirts in! Not as robust as it looks! Would not recommend this for either fun or as a cat deterrent....

water pistol
I purchased this in the hope of detering the squirrels from eating the fat balls from the bird feeder, it's now war. I must admit the spray from the gun does go quite a way and the squirrels do scatter and I have managed to scare them off and I have not seen them for a few days, no doubt they are off mating and will bring the new family back to torment me. All in all a goos gun and if you don't get the squirrels you can soak the kids instead.
