Value to performance wise this is the ticket, 1440p gaming at High-Max settings is where this card shines. 10/10 would recommend!

The rx 7900 gre is roughly the equivalent of a rtx 4070 ti (or 4080 if you overclock it) but at a $200-500 savings. The adrenaline software is great. Easy to use and the raw performance you get from this card for only $550 will save you from buying another GPU for quite some time. If you have the money to spend and a suitable PSU and CPU to pair with this beast then you can’t find anything better. Plus this gigabyte card is slightly factory overclocked so even more raw performance. The only downside is the rx 7900 gre can be a little loud under heavy workloads and performs its best at 1440p. You can do 4K and 1080p but 1440p is where it shines. I’d highly recommend getting a 1440p monitor if you don’t have one already when you get this GPU.

Upgraded my rig from a Ryzen 5 3600 with a RTX 2070 Super to a Ryzen 5 5600x and this Radeon 7900 GRE. My computer was running fine, but most games are utilizing so much VRAM that after every update I would have to run on lower settings than when I got it 4 years ago. This has basically unlocked every game to run on Very High to Ultra settings across the board, and everything runs incredibly smooth. People have commented about coil whine, but you have to give the card a few hours to break in the bearings on the fans. It's silent now. For $550, full price, it was really hard to justify anymore priced higher than this. The 16GB of VRAM is going to age very well.

Never buy AMD, there's a reason everybody complains about crashing. This thing runs great until it freezes your entire computer constantly, and every game crashes.

The adrenaline software seems to be more sophisticated than nvidias. I upgraded from a gtx 1080, and this thing is a dream. Its equivalent to a worse base 4080. To like a 4070 rtx super plus. I am happy with it for the price.
