So far I've had no problem using this. I'm able to charge my phone while using it as a poor-man's DAC to play music through my old stereo system. The connection is stable and I haven't heard any popping, hiss, etc. I know this isn't an audiophile device, but neither is a smartphone. This sure beats the hell out of Bluetooth though, and you can still charge your phone. I've been thinking of using an old phone as a dedicated media storage device until I get an actual dedicated one.The design is very durable and the components are housed in metal housings. Magnets are built into them which holds the two ends together, which is more handy than I originally thought. Old stereo systems can become a mess of wires pretty quickly and when you include a 2.5mm to 1/4" adapter to connect the old stereo-in plug to the amp it's a lot. This little device is perfect for my needs. I haven't noticed any heating issues but I have a dedicated amp. I'm using this as an adapter and I don't know how it would perform if you tried to power speakers directly.I think the value is great and the shipping was fast enough that I didn't move on to another project for a few weeks. It's a great buy and already paid for itself. I'm using VLC on my phone (free) to play my mp3 files, but you can use whatever you like if you don't care about owning music.

I have used this in my PC and ran my checks and it actually does support 32-bit/384kHz as advertised. That's great! They actually are using a good DAC chip inside this product. I thought I was having charging + playing issues but I believe it was actually just my car charger hitting bumps or something... as it hasn't done it a single time in the last several days or few weeks.Sound quality is AMAZING. SO much better than Bluetooth. It's louder. it's higher fidelity. I use the Tidal music streaming app so I can play the highest quality music on my phone.Seriously, it's a night and day difference between the Bluetooth connection I had been using. And having the ability to charge is a MUST. Don't purchase another model without a charger or anything. I also bought a high quality aux cable to go along with it.I LOVE this product and wish I knew about it a lot sooner. The magnets that clip the charger and aux connector together are a great idea, too. I can use it in my car or on other stereo systems that my PC can't reach. Otherwise, I just use my PC's S1220a Supreme FX onboard audio as it can also do 32-bit/384khz and I have Dolby and DTS on my PC, too. But that's beside the point.I'd recommend this product to ANYONE that has been using Bluetooth to play music in their car, so long as they have an aux port in their car.I enjoy driving more, now, because that's how much it increased the sound quality haha.

Recently changed to a newer phone that uses USB-C, so I had to replace my old lightning splitter from a different company.I've used it for a few days, and it has been working just fine. The audio quality is good, it plugs in snugly, and keeps the charge in my phone topped off while using maps and listening to music or audiobooks. It's also nice that since USB-C is being used by almost everything, it works for any of my passengers on a road trip if we're listening to their stuff instead.My cranky old pickup truck doesn't have a fancy infotainment system, but this lets me listen using my aux cable, keeps my phone going, and honestly that's all I need.It doesn't feel cheaply made...the connections are solid, and I feel that I got my money's worth out of it.

Overall, this is a fantastic product for those wishing to have an aux port while being able to charge their phone. It works amazing still after having bought this product back in August of 2024. This has survived being unplugged and plugged back in a multitude of times. This will occasionally have a small humming sound due to the charging if not consistent such as in a vehicle having the engine rev up and down you will occasionally hear that. Overall however, this is a fantastic product for the price and delivers audio that I was hoping for while still being able to quickly charge my phone if needed. The other nicety is not having to worry about the what ifs of a wireless headphones. The what if I forgot to charge it or having to pay for that more expensive headphones. Furthermore, it is nice to have just to connect to a car if it does have an aux port. Another use case is using it to connect to a stereo system to play music if you do not have one that has Bluetooth functionality.

Originally I had purchased the incorrect item for my needs. I realized before delivery, and began return policy. I was refunded promptly and able to reorder the correct item. My correct, this specific style linked with the review, worked very well. Until it didn't. I began noticing issues approximately a week or so after my Amazon Return Window had already closed. I don't know why but it seems to not want to connect to my cell ( Samsung A36 ). On a whim I reached out to UGREEN directly, and they were very polite, prompt with replies, and offered me a viable resolution to my problems. Bottom line, I guess I just got unlucky with my item, but wanted to reassure to all that UGREEN is an excellent, very honorable company to purchase from. I likely will again with no hesitation.

Sounds great, no clear problem with latency or audio fidelity sounds just as well as my amp. Bass is lacking unfortunately for my Sennheiser hd599s but that makes sense they’re 50 ohms. 20~30 hz is pretty good when played through a tone generator but music especially rebassed really has no bass at all compared to just tones.Music has to be mixed in a very boomy way for the bass to even be heard, other than that the sound is crystal clear and I’m happy with it as a portable alternative to my main dac.
