Q: is this self adhesive

Yes. It was recommended by a mechanic after my car failed an MOT due to a broken brake light lens. I stuck a little “sticky side out” on the inside of the hole and then some over the outside. 3 years later it is still in place and passing MOT inspections. Mine was a fairly small repair, so I don’t know how it would fare on a big break.

I've used about 60 cm so far and I have loads left, it is about 5cm wide. The packet in the picture is what I received so I think that is correct.
