Great book!
Someone Else's Shoes by Jojo Moyes, author's recent novel and release after a long time I guess. I enjoyed reading her previous books and writing style but with this one I personally felt a little disconnect with her writing. This is a story of mix-ups, mess-ups and making the most of second chances,Two Women - Sam and Nisha, who are completely different yet their paths cross through one misunderstanding and a bag exchange at the gym. The romance in this book is very less, so do not take this as a romance novel. For me it was a literary fiction, contemporary women's literature. What I liked about this book was how we see two very different women's perspective and how they struggle to make amends. One is rich and has everything she ever needed, whereas other is a mother and struggling to find a job in order to run her household and family. With the help of their new friends, we get to see how these two women find their way to future and make it out of it. I felt the explanation part was very much in this book and plot development was very less. However, it's a slow start but eventually we see progress amongst the characters. Please pick it up if you feel the blurb and plotline is something you would like to explore.

Delightful story!
This is the story about two women, Nisha and Sam, and Sam has accidentally taken Nisha’s gym bag. In that bag was Nisha’s beloved and exclusively made for her and very expensive Christian Louboutin red crocodile shoes.Nisha is married to a very rich man and she lives a lavish lifestyle… until he divorces her suddenly, without giving her a penny or her designer clothes back. Nisha is struggling to survive in London without her money or her clothes. Then there’s Sam whose life is also crumbling. Her husband is suffering from severe depression and her boss is a total jerk. And then the two women meet…I absolutely had a blast reading this book. It was so entertaining and humorous. There was also a tiny bit of suspense as to why the shoes were so valuable. This story has a beautiful friendship between women and I loved that part. The friendship between the four women including Nisha and Sam was heartwarming. There is a lot going on in the story but it doesn’t feel overwhelming at all. I enjoyed both Sam’s and Nisha’s storyline and backstory. I particularly felt so bad for Sam who had to do so much in order to look after her depressed husband and her teenage daughter and earn for her family, but no one was appreciating her in return. Instead, it was the opposite.Overall, this was such an enjoyable read with delightful friendships in it. I would highly recommend this book!

An Honest Review!
There were several hilarious instances. I was completely engrossed in the narrative because I was curious about how things would turn out for both women. I adore how they became friends over a pair of shoes and how they banded together to attempt to save Nisha’s life. The female friendships were wonderful! There are traces of friendship, passion, mystery, and heartache. I believe readers who enjoy women’s literature will adore this one. This was a lighthearted chick-lit book about friendship, adversity, and beginning anew. Then, along with a funny breaking-and-entering incident, we discuss parenthood, friendship, cancer, talk therapy, and other related topics.
