Spigen Tough Armor Case Compatible with iPhone 8 Plus / 7 Plus - Red

I love Spigen covers and had my previous one for several years and it saved my phone on many occasions when dropped from my hand or pocket.Eventually some of the hard plastic bits broke and became annoying so I purchased this one as I liked the idea of having the Spigen case with the pop out stand. And I went for a red case, well why not.Spigen cases are great and I have no concerns if I drop my phone. It makes the phone a bit bulkier but I’m used to it as I’ve never not had a case on my phone and it always surprises me how thin my phone actually is when I take it out of the case.The case has a lip that goes above the level of the screen so if it landed screen down (on flat surface) the screen wouldn’t touch the ground, though I have a screen protector too as the ground is rarely perfectly flat when you drop a phone.The pop out stand for watching your phone propped up in landscape mode is really useful, though it does feel a little flimsy and not Spigen tough.I would definitely recommend these cases in general but give this one 4 stars because of two things:1. The hard plastic case doesn’t quite fit the soft plastic element. The part that should clip on under the mute button, doesn’t quite clip on. So it occasionally catches and I’m sure will snap eventually. This is likely a manufacturing fault with this particular case rather than a fault in general. I just couldn’t be bother to send it back.2. The cut out hold where the charging socket connects has a lip of plastic around the inside which means that most charging wires cannot fit snugly in the charging port. I’ve had to trim this off with a knife to ensure that the phone charging plug has a secure connection as I had several instances where my phone hadn’t charged overnight.Overall these are sturdy cases that will protect your phone, they are bulkier than the flimsy plastic ones but then it will protect your phone. I will definitely buy these cases in future.

I have used loads and this is the best : I have dropped my phone loads and this has protected my phone from serious damage.It was so good I bought two would highly recommend this product

Top quality item - This is the fourth Spigen tough armour case which we’ve bought over the years (due to changes of iPhones) but the build quality and protection has never wavered throughout. Totally recommend buying this product and alway will, you will not be disappointed!!

Yes it is sturdy, it didn’t cost a fortune and probably quite durable. The last one I bought from Spigen had rounded edges and surroundings and was lovely to hold in hand. This one feels rough with sharp edges. It just feels uncomfortable. Would not buy it again.

Bought my mum red & myself rose gold to match our phones. They were fantastic at first and they do protect your phone very well, BUT the colour starts to scratch and chip off really easily after a while (like you can scratch it off with your fingernail even!!). So it ends up looking really scruffy. It’s a shame.

A very substantial cover, which I expect to be able to withstand almost any “disaster” that besets it: I wonder if a front cover would have been a useful addition, but we have put on a screen protector incase the inevitable occurs.Good price and arrived the next day.

Superb case. Looks great, feels great and on the odd occasion where I’ve dropped the phone off a chair or table (small drop) there’s no damage to phone or case. Small pop out stand is great for watching videos or TV on device at home and when travelling on trains etc. Bought another for my wife.

I had this case on my old iPhone 6. It ended up on a dual carriageway under several cars going at 60+mph. I went back to see if the phone was salvageable. It was not. It was nearly powder. The Spigen case however - intact and still usable. Can't ask for more than that really can you?
