Bought as birthday present for grandson. Price was right and Lego is always of a high standard . Has not had birthday yet so still waiting to see it built.

Loved building this from the characters to the colours beautiful also great product value with the 3 in 1Only issue and not just with this set but the raven Inparticular is hard to pose the legs don't hold up

I ordered this to make with my daughter who loves anything Lego and whilst I hadn't heard of this series my daughter had and she was really excited to get it and start building straight away.The quality is what you'd usually expect from Lego with the included easy to follow instruction booklet and numbered bags of bricks and they've stepped it up with recycling in mind as the bags are now paper instead of the unrecyclable plastic bags you usually get.One thing that really stood out with this set is the vibrant colours with loads of Purple in the theme which we really liked and the build took my daughter and I about an hour and a half or so but we weren't rushing as it was a rainy afternoon project.We love these 3-in-1 sets too as once finished it's great to dismantle and then start the build again as something else so the building experience lasts a lot longer.There are 5 included mini figures which all look great, although like I said they're all characters I've never come across before but they look perfect on my daughter's shelves once she's finished playing with them. Highly recommended.

This is the first Lego kit that I have opened that is the paper bags rather than the traditional plastic bags. The large ones are fine but if you have a smaller inclusion bag they have a tear strip that is vertical rather than horizontal and this doesn't work as well as the horizontal version on the main bags. I do like that this gives you an easier way to recycle rather than the thin plastic bags that are difficult to recycle.The build itself was quite a lot of fun, especially as I don't know anything about the franchise so the included characters were completely new to me. I was drawn to this mainly for the colour palette and the fact there is a dragon/bird build which I always enjoy building and usually display.Instructions are nice and clear and all via illustration. There are 3 creature options for the build and you can only build one from the included bricks. When you get to this section of the book the pages are colour coded for the creature they are for and it does tell you which page to turn to for your chosen creature. Obviously, I chose the bird/dragon one - on reflection and looking at my photos I am pretty sure it is a bird.Construction was a lot of fun (as you would expect from the market leader) and the inclusion of 5 mini figures is a big plus point. I was really pleased with the hanging bottles for the tree - super simple but really effective decoration. The main creature is pretty sturdy once constructed but the wing tips do pop out if you catch them - they are large pieces and brightly coloured so quite easy to spot.Number Of Pieces: 457Approximate Price Per Piece: £0.09Build Time: 1 Hour 15 Minutes
