I have the most difficult of natural hair! I practically have to COAT it! Enter Jamaican Extra Dark Castor Oil. I was reading the many reviews about this, and many customers said that this made their hair soft. Well, my wild coarse hair needed to be tamed, so this did the trick. I also found that you can make your own little concoction; I mixed a little rosemary, (of which I also purchased, and will give a review next) and a little bit of leave-in conditioner, all in a spray bottle. I put this in my hair after I wet it, and what did I get? - - - soft hair! And because of the rosemary that's mixed in this concoction, you get a 'zing' to your scalp, and it feels soo good, and it gives you that cooling effect! Folks, you can't go wrong with this. Just give it a try! And be creative in the way you make your own little concoction! I have my own way of doing it, you have your own way of doing it. But if you want to try mixing a little of the rosemary in your mixture, hey - - I am not mad at you! Enjoy being natural!!

Great oil to use to stimulate growth and to get thicker hair. I've used Jamaican black castor oil in the past and wanted to put this back into my hair regimen since noticing my edges have been breaking off. This oil helps to keep my edges moisturized and protected. I've noticed my edges are growing back. I tried using this oil to moisturize the rest of my scalp but noticed this oil makes my scalp, especially the back of my head, extremely itchy. I read up that black castor oil is used to detox the scalp from impurities and can cause your scalp to itch. I think since the castor oil is extra dark its very concentrated so for me its works when mixed with another oil to be used on the rest of my scalp.

My daughters and I have been using this product for years. Rather our hair is wet or straightened, the results of using this oil is amazing. If you’re looking for healthier, longer hair, try this.

Great castor oil at a great price. Shipment arrived quickly and packaged well. I use this on my relaxed hair. I mix with 1-2 drops of peppermint oil and massage into my scalp. My hair growth is now amazing as I now average about 1 inch of new growth every 8-10 weeks. I also had a nail fungal infection. After rubbing a few drops of castor oil on my nail every night after showering, my fungal nail infection has cleared up. I highly recommend this product. It's antibacterial properties are worth it.

So I use this oil two nights in a row and the morning after the second my hair was soft and easy to comb out...I have natural African American hair and usually I have to grease oil and moisturise my hair the night in order to keep them soft and then do the same in the morning again...but I use this and my hair stays soft all dayAlso it have this silky touch on my hair and my hair feels thick...I will recommend this product base on thatSo Im editing my review...This product actually does work for hair growth . Ive used ir for two weeks everynight and my hair line was damaged because of braiding and for months this one spot was bald, I am now seeing growth in that same area.A MUST BUY

I do not use this product to moisturize my hair because it is a bit thick. However, I use it to restore my hairline. I have not seen much of a change but will continue to use.

First time using this brand and I think it's going to be a staple product in my line up. The scent of the castor oil alone tells me that it's authentic. Will follow up with reviews post use.
