i love this lil guy
While we were Christmas shopping, I bought one of these for myself at Target. I haven't ever flown a drone before and this was small and cheap enough to not be intimidating to try.I loved it. Became obsessed with it. I was flying it all around the house constantly. On NYE I was flying it around while friends were over, and then I crashed it, got distracted, forgot about it, and lost it. Couldn't find it anywhere! Drove me crazy looking for it and figured it would turn up eventually. My patience was thin so I ordered another one on Amazon.Anyway tonight I'm flying the new one around while my cat is running around trying to bat at it (great enrichment for the both of us) and I end up crashing into a wall and the drone falls behind a bookcase. I go to grab it and there were two there! I'm thrilled I found the one I lost by crashing the new one in the exact same spot.It handles well. Sport mode is a ton of fun. My cat loves it. I love it. I wish the battery would last a bit longer than it does but it is understandable for its size. It doesn't take that long to charge up anyway. And now that I have two, once one is dead I just pull the other off the charger and continue flying.Very impressed and makes me want to explore other drones. This one feels like an excellent starter to get the hang of how they handle before committing to a larger more expensive one.

Great drone
Love this unit! It's been to the bottom of 3 glasses of water. I had to run and dump the water to get the drone out. It still flys but don't hold it as tight. Will be buying a new!

A lot of fun in a small inexpensive package
I already have the Holy Stone HS210 and that is a lot of fun but wasn't sure how something even smaller would fly. I didn't expect too much with the price and size of the sky viper nano but wanted to check it out anyways (after all it is super inexpensive). Long story short this can be a lot of fun indoors. It tends to feel heavy compared to the Holy Stone HS210 though and actually feels like it has some quality to it. I have crashed it a number of times (see my warning about reading the manual below) and it just keeps on ticking.I would highly recommend reading the accompanying manual and make sure you understand how everything works before complaining that it flies erratically as some reviewers have described. This is especially true if this is your first RC drone. Be sure to review and understand the trim functions if when you launch the drone it drifts in any particular direction. The attached photos show the size of this compared to a large Snickers bar along with a Holy Stone HS210 for size comparison. I also added a photo of the rest of the stuff you get when you buy this (except for the instructions which are actually pretty good).

Performs well
This drone performs pretty well. The controls are a bit hard to manage and the battery life is short, but it has good value for the money. Very light weight, so wouldn’t recommend for outside use.

Quality declined.
I’ve had several of these. The first couple were great. More recently, the quality has been poor, and the drones are dead within a couple flights.

Very fun
Extremely fun for a dumb drone

Decent Little Drone for Beginners
The Sky Viper Dash Nano Drone is fun to fly indoors and outdoors, and it’s surprisingly easy for my 8-year-old to control. The controls are okay overall — not super precise but fine for casual flying. For the price, it’s a good value and a nice way to get kids into drones. That said, the battery life isn’t great and it takes a while to recharge, so play sessions are pretty short. It’s also not very durable, but that’s expected at this price point. Overall, a decent starter drone if you know its limits.

Very basic starter drone that's worth every penny
This is clearly more of a toy than a "real drone" - but it will definitely help scratch the initial itch of flying a drone. At the very least it will let you know if your kid (or you) are capable of the attention and coordination needed to fly something more expensive. Also, if you get tired of this immediately, it may be a good sign that no further droning is needed. This is pretty durable and has some fine adjustments that help with stability.
