This vacuum is fabulous, it great quality, it has a charging stand that the vacuum also empties itself. Very useful, it’s not too heavy for anyone with disabilities with lifting and their hands. Battery life is good, it does 3 to 4 rooms, the manoeuvrability is good round the furniture, it is cordless but you need to have a socket for the base. The attachments are of good quality and easy to fit. The value for money is very good for a Shark.

Just wow, what a piece of kit! Works perfectly, really strong motor, blocks the vents very quickly though so keep an eye on it. If you vacuum everyday then you won't have an issue.....we obviously don't, once a week so it blocks up (little malting dog and wife males more)The lights are brilliant, nice and light weight. Never known suction better and I've had them all! Very easy to maneuver around. I will recommend to purchase a spare battery though! We use it on boost constantly and you definitely need 2 batteries for a 3 bed house.

I had high hopes for the Shark Classic Anti Hair Wrap Upright Vacuum Cleaner [NZ860UK], especially with its strong branding as a pet vacuum. It’s sleek, easy to assemble, and the anti-hair wrap feature works well on hard floors and low-pile rugs. The suction on those surfaces was decent, and the lift-away function is convenient for stairs or harder-to-reach areas.However, I ended up returning it. The main reason was that I have thick rugs and carpets, and unfortunately, this model didn’t perform well on them. It struggled to glide properly and didn’t lift embedded pet hair or dirt as effectively as I expected. Compared to my previous Shark Pet Pro, this one just didn’t have the same power or deep-cleaning ability on plush carpet.⸻Pros:• Lightweight and easy to maneuver• Good on hard floors and low-pile carpets• Anti-hair wrap works as advertised• Handy lift-away design for portabilityCons:• Not suitable for thick or high-pile carpets• Suction not as strong as other Shark models (e.g., Pet Pro)• Returned due to underperformance on main flooring surfaces in my home⸻This could be a great option for homes with mostly hard flooring or short-pile rugs, but if you have dense carpeting or thick rugs, you might want to consider a more powerful alternative.

Compared to other cordless rechargeable vacuums I have experienced I was a little sceptical about the potential efficiency of this model.Needn’t have worried - it really sucked! A good solid vacuum that fitted into a cupboard with the restriction of a low top shelf. Very little extra height needed above to lift off the stand. The inbuilt sensors are brilliant. Most of the house has wood flooring apart from the bedrooms and the Shark efficiently detects the difference between this and the carpeted area and adjusts accordingly. Also impressed with the edge detectors. This is where most hard to access dust collects but the sensor detects the edge and provides extra suction. It is also to be commended that the head sucks when pulling in reverse. The auto empty system also works well albeit a little scary when placing on the charging stand and the empty function takes over!

So far so good, though I will update if required.The good bits:Brilliant suction. Nice and compact if you have a smaller home. Nice and lightweight to manoeuvre. Performs very well on hard floors. Self emptying dust receptacle is great, especially if you don’t want to handle dead spiders! Bright headlights for darker areas. Great for animal hair.Not so good bits:The self emptying dock doesn’t always discharge everything, sometimes it needs a little shake. Not quite as good on carpeted areas, but still performs better than most. Charging lead isn’t that long. Run time not quite as long as it states, but still adequate.Emptying dock is noisy, not so good if you’re in a flat or terraced. Even though we’re detached, our neighbour claims to have heard it when we used it late one evening.Overall, bought this to replace a cordless Miele, and it (so far) has performed very well. Having recently moved to a larger house, it’s perfect for moving from room to room without the faff of plugging and unplugging. Not all of our rooms are used regularly, so just need a light going over most days.Husband has been doing some major building renovations, for which we’re using the Henry, but this is just perfect for everyday mess from the kids.Recommended if you can get it at the sale price.

Faffed around for ages trying to decide what hoover to get, wanted something that we could leave out all the time to grab and clean up crumbs/messes in the kitchen and the rest of the downstairs as I’ve bought some crap hoovers in the past. This is fab! Really good suction, love that it doesn’t need emptying all the time and as it’s always charged runtime hasn’t been an issue yet! Great piece of kit and not too heavy. Also looks good in the kitchen!

So happy with my new vac. I’ve been dragging round a plug in Henry and though it was good at the job it made cleaning an absolute chore.This new Shark is just grab, vac and done. It is easy to use, the stand means it’s got its own place to live, great light to see in corners, under sofas etc and perfect for high reach areas and sofas.Perfect, I wish I’d bought one sooner
