Great Phone
Very nice. Works as well, or better, than Samsung.

initial thoughts from a field mechanic
Tech support is not helping me at all. Sim card reader died after 3 days and I'm on day 4 of trying to get any useful information from MFGFirst 3 days were great though, I'm a field tech for ag equipment, farmer, outdoor enthusiasts, general rough and tumble clutz...initial thoughts: thick, rugged, manly, just like me. sleeker than expected, heavy but comfortable in working hands. transition was smoother than expected from my Verizon network locked rugged phone to this sausage-finger friendly behemoth. being my first unlocked phone, I wasn't sure what was going to work or not, but so far I haven't found any loss of function. the thermal camera was the big selling point for use troubleshooting overheating issues on hydraulic systems or engine cooling systems and whatnot, the plug-in versions always gave me connection issues but this is so refreshingly seemless. Definitely miss my back and home buttons, if you don't swipe correctly on Android 14 I end up accidentally liking pics or vids on social media I didn't want to...I think the battery life was way overhyped, doesn't seem to last 5x more than my 2250mAh previous phone, more like 2x, still getting a full day plus is a win as I need to be untethered but connected for 16 hours a day to earn my paycheck. going forward, hopefully it will make it into the 13th month club... an elite club only 2 phones have ever lived long enough to see in the 24 years I've subscribed to cellular.

A bit niche, but worth it compared to Samsung or Iphone
The phone is cool and the FLIR really works. The phone is kinda heavy, keep that in mind. The Android version forces the google ecosystem on you which is annoying because google photos is yoo intrusive. The battery life is excelent though.I got this phone for its ability to use micro SD cards and that works. Also, it has decent memory.

Buggy software and cameras, inaccurate thermal
*I sent this back. Buggy software*The device arrived well packaged and nice. I transferred my data and sim and it worked. But it wasn't until I started really using it that I realized I couldn't put up with the issues. The front camera stopped working until after a reboot. The night vision was awesome but I couldn't get the camera off night vision. All buttons would just "mirror" flip it.The thermal camera was 20° off from accurate. I currently have a doogee phone with thermal not by flir but it is accurate. Aiming the 27t I to a fridge with a thermometer in the fridge, it would tell me my food was 65°f. My doogee would properly report that everything in my fridge is ~34°f. I tried everything to tune the accuracy. Its sad because other than the buggy software, I really liked it.

Much to complicated to operate
I am a professional mechanic and wanted to use this for trouble shooting. Too many steps involved to just take a picture. Designed for people that are making art work
