Our Classic Journals feature designs from Lang's top artists ranging from contemporary to updated traditional. Lisa Kaus has been a mixed media artist for almost 20 years. She is a self-professed "Paperholic" since childhood. Her creative process starts with an idea inspired by her love of gardening, scavenging for vintage finds and travels. Once a concept is formed, she expresses it on canvas, wood or paper. Scraps of paper, paint, glue and crayon strokes make their way into the surface as well. It's a fun, messy process. By incorporating a variety of mediums into each piece, she is able to create a wonderful spontaneous element to her work.
