Another Great Victorinox Pocket Knife!
I purchased this knife after weighing in the factors of price, tools included, name brand reputation, and size. When I first held it I thought this knife was a bit on the heavy side for a pocket knife. There was some concern it may be too big to carry around in my pocket all day. I had previously carried a much smaller Victorinox but lost it. In an effort to try and replace it, this knife caught my eye because of the black and gold colors (yes, don't judge, I'm a fan of all sports in Pittsburgh). What I was particularly looking for was something with scissors. When I was a Boy Scout District Commissioner I was gifted a BSA Victorinox that had all of these tools except the scissors and saw blade. That knife as been 'retired' because of the memories that are with it.After carrying this knife around for about 2 weeks my thoughts have been changed. I've come accustomed to the size and slight bulk in my pocket, actually finding it's not so bad after all. Some might say this is border line for needing a belt-sheath but if that were the case I have a Kobalt tool without scissors but with pliers. Another product would be a Leatherman which I also lost, but those are also much larger needing a sheath as well. This fits the bill for having the tools I need, being small enough to keep in my pocket, a solid feel to it, formed to fit in your hand, all that AND the black and gold colors I so dearly love! And by the way, the scissors - the item I had to have on whatever I bought - are sharp, solidly built, and have a nice spring action to boot! This Victorinox Swiss Army Pocket Knife has already helped me out on three or four occasions in so short a time. The reputation of Victorinox is still intact! Another great product that will last a lifetime - as long as I don't lose it like the others.

These Things Can Save You Hours Going To Get Tools!
I have been a huge fan of Swiss Army Knives for decades! I won't be caught without one except on an airplane or in court. I have always had the Champion in the past. They DO break if you seriously misuse them, but not easily; you have to torture them. I went hmmm and ahhh for awhile and decided I'd try this instead of getting another Champion. I especially liked the multi-size nut driver and the "Channel Lock" style pliers. I have yet to use the nut driver thing so far, but I've already used the "Channel Lock" type pliers a few times. Nice! They open nice and wide, in a relative sort of way. The small knife is missing; it's just a nail file type thing now. The Champion has a pen, tweezers, and a toothpick. Oh! I remember! There's a "jeweler's" screwdriver wound into the corkscrew on the Champion. That was missing. I grabbed that from one e of my old ones and put it in there. This one has two slots, but it only had the toothpick, if I remember right. I added the tweezers (from a broken Swiss Army Knife.) I'm thinking of changing my mind and adding the pen instead of one of them, probably the toothpick.Anyway! The remaining (large) blade now has a lock!! Very nice! It's not going to close on your fingers or anything until you release it! The spring metal hold open devices on the scissors and the pliers have been improved! It's hard to explain, but there's MUCH less chance of them going off to one side and getting bent out of shape like they do on the Champion. There is NO reduction in quality anywhere! The knife was dangerously sharp, just under a razor blade. It's already a little duller than it was, from my use stripping wires and stuff, but not much! I'm used to having to sharpen Swiss Army Knife blades every once in awhile. Absolutely no complaints! I guess I wish they'd send it with the tweezers and a pen. Not sure if mine was missing something or what, but every single Swiss Army Knife I have (I have three or four with just one little thing broken) has got a spare tooth pick, pen, and tweezers. Not a big deal at all.

Quality utility Swiss Army tool
Good price on a fantastic Swiss Army utility knife that is small but has the essentials. Light and easily carried. Newer, safer large open blade lock. I really like the yellow and black.

Fine knife, with a couple surprises
This is a fine Swiss Army knife. The main (and only) blade locks in place very well -- much better than models from a decade ago. And most everything else works perfectly well. But there were two surprises. (1) The smaller, secondary blade is gone, although in the product pictures it appears to be present. It's been replaced by an identically shaped... nail gunk scraper-outer (?) with a small rectangle of file-like material on the side. This is NOT what I wanted, and I see no real use for it.(2) The knife is a LOT lighter than red Swiss Army Knives with the same blades and accessories. That seems to be due to the low density of the yellow plastic. Only time will tell if this is a result of a new, high-tech yellow polymer that saves weight without skimping on strength, or just cheap plastic that will break easily.ADDENDUM: After three years of use, it's clear that the yellow material of this knife is extremely resilient, and the grippy surface is as well.

Good product
The scissors are a bit difficult to access but other than that, great.

Great little utility knife
Excellent small utility knife. Knife handy for anything you need a sharp edge for. Bottle opener screw driver has been useful. Seems very good quality, even a bit stylish.
