Quality family time
Really enjoyed doing this as a great family activity with an 8 and 11 year old. We found one task early on quite difficult and I was a little worried it would be too tough but once we got through that the rest were just the right level of challenge. It’s beautifully illustrated with lots of fun props and great that it is all made from card and paper. Thoroughly recommend as a fun family activity.

Brilliant family fun
Bought to create a game night on New Year’s Eve. 3 adults a 12 year old and a 9!year old had a fantastic night chatting, working together and sharing. The quality is excellent the images on each section of the story are beautiful and really relate to the story - everyone loved it. Only one very very minor issue one of the activities asks you to plot onto a grid and two A6 plots are in the instructions - this did not detract from the resilt. What is fantastic is that you cannot cheat you have to work through each challenge to solve it. The whole family loved it and because we took time it lasted all night.

Well-designed family game
Thus is a fun escape 'room'-type puzzle game. Great for multi-generational family play. Well-designed and lots of fun. The instructions are relatively clear, although not suitable for kids to play on their own. Lovely quality.

Great Family Game
Really well put together and provided a great evening of fun for all the family! Our 11 year old god daughter made an excellent GM as it was nicely presented for her to be able to lead us through.

Great fun for all the family
Loved it! 6 of us played this, ranging from age 10 to 77. The 16 year old didn't fancy it so he played as the master reading out clues etc. We all really enjoyed it. A great way to spend a rainy Sunday!

Such a fun experience, great challenge
This was played with kids aged between 8-13 years old. Most really enjoyed it, they were fully immersed. The challenges are great. A very good verity of challenges for different levels. As easy as spot the difference and a very challenging task of placing alchemy bottles in the correct place using a puzzling instruction. There are qr codes to scan. The first one directs you to a video of a wizard introducing the challenge. Love the idea, but it didn’t work well. Audio was clear. Another code directs you to music to play in the background. Again, love the idea, but it didn’t add much. The music wasn’t great. The challenges are written individually on a paper or booklet. These are very nicely designed. Great images and written well. It really gets the mood going. You are provided with tracing paper to help figure them out. Also get a piece of paper and pencils to make notes. The challenges feel rewarding when they figured it out. They really needed to pay attention and work it out. Got them thinking, looking, asking, making notes. The objective of the each challenge is to find the hidden word, which you use to fill in the gap from a letter. You have a booklet with instructions on how to play it. The booklet provides two hints if they get stuck. And answers at the end. These hints are useful. Helped a to figure out a few challenges. There was 5 children playing all together. We split them into two groups. Each one figures a challenge. This method work. Because it allowed everyone to contribute. Another way, especially with more children. Get two sets and see who finishes first.
