Secure hold
Nice secure hold. Nice thick leather, A little tight at first but followed instructions at its very good now. Molded to better fit the hips.

Worth every penny!
I purchased this for a snub nose Ruger Speed Six. It fits perfectly as advertised. The quality is outstanding! I got the “vintage” finish and it is by far the nicest holster i have purchased. I will be buying 1791 holsters for all my pistols and revolvers. And they are not only US made but made in my home state of Florida!

Well made heavy leather
I did not need to fit my revolver into this holster at all. It's very good and heavy weight leather.

Quality Leather Good Fit, would be 5 stars if Retention snap didn't scrape pistol
This is a really solid holster. Looks great and fits my 3" 686 perfectly however I have to give it a "ding" (pun intended) for the retention snap design. It's not recessed so the metal snaps scrape across the cylinder every time you draw and if you're not careful, even when you re-holster. Given the fact I don't fret much over aesthetics when it comes to my firearms, FOR ME, it's a non-issue however I could definitely see this being a deal breaker for those with expensive finishes or simply don't want scuffs on their piece. Disappointing they missed on this detail but replacing with Velcro or even clipping off entirely might be a viable fix. Other than this, really well made, retention is great and draws smoothly every time.

Not good.
It holds the gun so it does function. However it felt much heavier on the hip than my Bianchi holster. I think this is due to the location of the loops. There are better options out there and I had hopes for this holster but it fell short.

what you see is what you get
Quality was there. Color of leather was exceptional as was the fit to my revolver. Overall I was 100% satisfied with my holster and its provider.
