D-Day Beach Attack - Rub Down Transfers World War 2 Battle Scene

Great stuff, kept grandson busy for about an hour ...he loved them.

Our 6-year old son is going through a World War 2 obsession phase. With him such phases alternate every few weeks. He got his World War II interests from his older sister’s illustrated history books. In short, by now his mission in life is to become “an American World War II soldier that fights on the beach”. Not without risk, and somewhat poorly timed, but for the rest it sounds like a credible plan.So to support him in his passion and enthusiasm we got our son some children’s books about the topic, toys and this rub-on sheet. I used to have these rub-on sheets in the 1970’s and always liked it as a fun activity that has some educational value as well.It’s pretty straightforward to apply the transfers. However I tend to assist my children with it. So that we can first cut out each item and then place it on the sheet keeping some of the perspective in mind. This joint activity then serves as a base for discussions about the topic. In short; quality craft time with my children! No iPad or PS4 can beat that.

My 6 year old loves these. They work brilliantly on flights to keep him occupied in a small seat. And they work brilliantly whilst in quarantine to keep him occupied! Many thanks!

Anything that gets the little blighters off electronic devices is a plus in my book. So nice to see children enjoying transfers as much as I did when I was a nipper. I may order some for myself!
